I used it for my PS4 to expand the harddrive. I love it it’s small but fast and easy hook up.

Very happy with this purchase, an I find this design to be a very durable case. Plenty of room with the 2 TB as well. Extremely fast shipping , get here in less than 24 hours from ordering !! Ty!

Nice drive, works great. I bought two of them and I configured them with BitLocker encryption (roughly 12 hours to encrypt) and they are running great!

I’ve been using this drive for about 2 weeks, and so far I like it with some reservations. It’s relatively quiet and the r/w speeds are on par with the competition. The only thing I don’t like about this drive (so far) is the lack of rubber feet… it tends to slide around on metal surfaces (like when sitting on top of your case). Over the past 7 years, I’ve purchased about two dozen WD My Passport drives, and came to discover they have a tendency to fail at around the 2-3 year mark. After the last recent failure, I decided to give Seagate a try, so we’ll see how this drive lasts. As a side note, I think any moving platter technology should be considered portable temporary storage, and not a backup. I may eventually move to SSD drives as the capacities increase

I have three of these drives, and love them. No external power supply means I can move them back and forth between laptop and desktop computers. Small size makes them easy to carry. Great little drives.

Works great. Have a YouTube channel and my hard-drive on laptop was getting full. This solved my issue for this year. Will be getting another later.

Came super fast and set up was extremely simple. Great purchase.

I bought this to extend the storage on an Xbox One. Plugged in and was downloading in a few minutes. Formatting was simple and quick. It’s only been a week, but so far so good. I’ve had other Seagate drives with years of service and still going strong. I hope the same for this one.

It is being used with my Windows 10 and Windows 7 computers primarily for backup. It is quick and quiet. I am happy with it

I used this HDD with my Mac Book Pro 15- 2017 and and I’m not very happy with it. It’s not fast, and i had some problems to format.

I had no great expectations given the capacity of this drive. I put this thing to the test and, at first, it was just so-so. I found that the factory had formatted this drive as NTFS (VFAT can’t run this large.) but they made the block size only 4k. When I reformatted it to 32k NTFS it came alive. The response times went down and it just worked better for the work I ask it to do. Your mileage may vary, it all depends on what you need. This guy powers from the USB connection, so make sure the device(s) you use can handle the extra draw…it uses way less juice than older USB hybrids I’ve owned.

I needed to have this product within days, in time for a visit from my techie friend who would install my BRAND NEW MAC (yay!). Needed this HD to be here for the setup process. When the sales person heard my story he responded in such a friendly way and did everything he could to make sure the delivery would arrive in time. He didn’t HAVE to do it but he did! It was great to have that kind of friendly care in a world gone mad. I highly recommend you take your business to B&H. You really couldn’t ask for better service.

I use mine to back up the scan files from a system running Windows XP 32 bit with no problems and the Windows 10 machine reads it just fine too.

I purchased this hard drive because I needed more space to download games for my PlayStation 4 since I only do digital downloads. It was easy to set up and has been great so far!

The drive is overall amazing, incredibly small, and not too loud. The only issue is that it can be quite slow. I only got up to 50 MB/S write speed sequential, so I wouldn’t recommend running an OS on it as I did, you should use an SSD instead.
