I think a review may be a bit premature, but so far the drive is working as expected. I transferred several hundred gig of pictures and it was as easy as click and drop. I am very pleased and would recommend this drive to.anyone. Also I don’t find it excessively noisy at all.

Bought 2 of these 8TB hard drives. Easy set up but it took over 10 hours to transfer 1.4 TB of pictures.

I was really exited to finally use the hard drive after months of waiting and planing to order it and when I finally decide to order , I get a busted version I tried it on 3 deferent computers and it doesn’t show up on any of them It keep showing a blue light but in all the computers you can’t find it I tried to look at disk management and cmd and data manager but couldn’t find anything , I tried to install Paragon as it was recommended to do that and it didn’t show up either. And all the 3 computers are new and updated I guess I will try to refund and see the other options .

1) no power on/off switch. 2) disk keeps spinning at most time even not in use. 3) not a quiet disk during sliming. 4) only mount vertical on desk (cannot reposition rubber feet) 5) noisy Fisk.

The size is compact enough for my desk and it’s an easy plug and play device. The thing I didn’t think about is, it needs electrical power to work. I didn’t pay attention to that and I was thinking it was like my smaller external drive and all I had to do was plug the ubs in. But overall, I’m happy with it.
