Store, access, and edit up to 10TB of data, whether at home or on-the-go, including documents, music, movies, photos, and more with the 10TB Backup Plus USB 3.0 External Hard Drive with USB Hub from Seagate. This drive connects to your system using its integrated micro-USB 3.0 (micro-B 10-pin) port and provides data transfer speeds of up to 160 MB/s, while also being backwards compatible with USB 2.0. In addition to its storage capabilities, this drive has also been equipped with dual front-mounted USB 3.0 Type-A ports, which can be used to recharge your tablet, smartphone, or camera, as well as back up files, even if your system is turned off or in standby mode.
Seagate’s Backup Plus Hub is compatible with both Windows and Mac systems. It is pre-formatted for Windows and Mac compatibility requires the downloadable NTFS driver for Mac. Once installed, this drive can be used interchangeably between Windows and Mac without needing to be reformatted. Also included is downloadable Seagate backup software, a 4′ micro-USB 3.0 to USB Type-A cable, a power adapter, and a complimentary four month membership to Adobe’s Creative Cloud Photography Plan.

Bought this to backup an internal 8T drive that stores all my video and photos. Took about 10 hours or so to backup 2 T. Its a USB drive so I didnt expect it to be done in 30 minutes. Its fast enough to stream music and even 4 K video without stuttering. You won’t likely find a better option at $150. Shipped fast as usual from B&H. Thanks

Transfer rates appear to slow when you put mode data on it. Tax (GST) for Malaysia was originally calculated on an incorrect deivery charge. Fortunately this was fixed before delivery. Much appreciated – FedEx.

Seagate makes excellent external hard drives, and this is no exception. The 10TB Backup Plus USB 3.0 performs fast and reliably. It is an asset for people with significant numbers of files (such as a photographer). Files can be retrieved easily and quickly, and backup is simple and effective. The USB hub is an added bonus. I am considering getting another one, and would certainly recommend it to others.

Dec. order , Seagate 10TB with Hub received with mechanical defect. 2 USB socket in Hub are mounted to high (of center) . And is not possible to plug in any cable or any USB device to outlet for backup or any other use…. My previous order in Nov. Seagate 6TB with Hub is OK…

We got this in the “Deal Zone” for a great price. Ran out of room on a couple of 1tb secondary drives so we got this. Transfer of each 1tb drive was relatively quick. We have it connected to our RAID drive for “easier” access. Works well so far.

So Far so good, I’ve transferred over 4TB of archives from a four auxiliary hard drives and a cloud server that had evolved out of several generations of computers & photos & trips & shows & letters and 40 years worth of stuff. Now I’m ready for the next 30 years. I’ve had Seagate, Maxtor which I think is now Seagate, Hitachi not to mention every line of computers that’s existed before they had auxiliary HD. Auxillary HDs are much more reliable that cloud service because if you lose your connection you can still work. I’ll probably buy another to backup the backup eventually. I also bought an APC Back-UPS Pro 700VA Battery Backup & Surge Protector.

These are well guilt drives, I have 2. I will say it’s sometimes a bit of a pain setting up, I don’t know if it’s just because I have a Mac but the software included is a little cumbersome. I just like to plug in the drive and open up the icon. The charging ports on the front or a nice option although I don’t tend to use them. And I strictly use these as a back up so I don’t work off of them too often but the performance seems fine, especially for my needs. And you cannot beat the price.
