Small enough for a loaded laptop bag yet spacious enough for loads of content, the black 2TB Backup Plus Slim USB 3.0 External Hard Drive from Seagate combines portability with useful file storage. Formatted as exFAT and compatible with Windows and Mac right out of the box, this drive connects to systems running Windows 7 and higher or macOS 10.11 and higher using its micro-USB port and an included 18" micro-USB to USB Type-A cable that is compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0. It is powered via the USB bus, which means that no additional power supplies are required, and also features plug-and-play functionality, meaning that no additional drives are required for use.
Also included with Backup Plus Slim is downloadable Toolkit Backup Software, which lets you backup on demand, schedule automatic backups, and mirror folders for file management. Take advantage of a 1-year subscription to Mylio Create to organize your photos and protect, edit, share, and sync them across multiple devices, and use a 2-month subscription to Adobe’s Creative Cloud Photography Plan to edit and create using Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC.

Rec’d in A shippin box with manufacturing box Inside but only wrapped in one round of small bubble pack. These are way too sensitive to the slightest shock so packing should have filled the box. Luckily all is well and the product came it its original packaging.

I have used my Seagate Hard Drive for around 2 months now and have no complaints about the product. In my line of work 1 TB is honestly a bit over kill, but nonetheless I still find comfort in knowing that there will be space on it for years to come. Uploading speeds are completed with haste and efficiency, and in my experience have been carried out with not a single error or mistake. The hard drive is light and discrete, which is important to me when I am traveling. Lastly the small indicator light is a huge asset to be because it visually confirms that everything is in working order, to there are no guessing games or double checks to see if files are in fact being carried over. I strongly recommend this product to those who want to have peace of mind in file storage, and those who need to take files with them in the midst of travel.

I previously had a Western Digital External Hard Drive and wasn’t happy with their customer service. I’m a photographer with over 20,000 photos and needed a good backup External hard Drive with lots of memory. I went from 1TB to 2TB. After reading B&H reviews, I decided to go with Seagate as I trust whatever B&H carries. I previously purchased both cameras, accessories, printer, cartridges, etc. and never had a problem with any of their products or Customer Service who are great to speak with. Seagate is much easier to navigate to view my files and is not complicated. It was easy to install. I’m not a tech person and was able to install it but had a few questions. My phone calls to Seagate was answered in a speedy fashion and I didn’t get disconnected as I did with WD. I freaked out though when Seagate doesn’t have the capability of remote access but with their product, I was able to follow their directions over the phone with no problem. I’m a happy photographer and know this was the way to go. Thanks B&H & Seagate!!!!
