Built with the form factor of a credit card, the 4TB One Touch USB 3.2 Gen 1 External Hard Drive from Seagate lets you seamlessly scroll, edit, organize, and directly stream a large collection of stored photos and videos. Beneath its black exterior, the One Touch is equipped with a 4TB hard drive and a bus-powered USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) interface. The One Touch is formatted as exFAT, meaning it will work with both Windows 7 and later as well as macOS 10.12 and later without the need for a reformat. However, a reformat may be required for use with Apple’s Time Machine.
Included with Seagate’s One Touch HDD is an 18″ USB 3.2 Gen 1 cable, a one-year membership to Mylio Create, and a four-month membership to Adobe’s Creative Cloud Photography plan.
Note: Both Mylio Create and Adobe’s Creative Cloud Photography Plan are redeemable during product registration and may not be available in all countries. Adobe’s plan is available to users 13 and older, requires a network connection, an Adobe ID, and must be redeemed within one year of drive registration.

Have several Seagate portables and have never had slightest problem with them. Wish the bigger ones could be thinner like smaller ones .

This unit was reasonably priced and of suitable size for backing up my photos and other data files (*.tar.gz). It worked fine at once, but I reformatted it to ext4 for my linux box. I keep it away from the computer in a fire-resistant box. Another attraction was its 2-year warranty.

I read online that this external hard drive doesn’t work on consoles, but I connected to my PlayStation 4 Pro and I could to use it without problems, I downloaded a lot of games and even I have half of storage free.

Set this up as a time machine. Hopefully, I’ll never have to use it, but it’s nice to know it is there.

I have a 1 TB storage device several years old that requires external power and by todays standards, is quite slow. It still works but is about 10 times as large as the Seagate I purchased. The new Seagate has terrific speed and runs rings around my old device. I LOVE my new Seagate to pieces in every imaginable Way!! Also, it is very easy to use.

I have used over a dozen of these recently and I have nothing to complain about it. Works well, compact and reliable. My oldest one about 18 months and no issue. I used to buy another brand but after 2 early failure I switched to the Seagate product.
