Built with the form factor of a credit card, the 4TB One Touch USB 3.2 Gen 1 External Hard Drive from Seagate lets you seamlessly scroll, edit, organize, and directly stream a large collection of stored photos and videos. Beneath its light blue exterior, the One Touch is equipped with a 4TB hard drive and a bus-powered USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) interface. The One Touch is formatted as exFAT, meaning it will work with both Windows 7 and later as well as macOS 10.12 and later without the need for a reformat. However, a reformat may be required for use with Apple’s Time Machine.
Included with Seagate’s One Touch HDD is an 18″ USB 3.2 Gen 1 cable, a one-year membership to Mylio Create, and a four-month membership to Adobe’s Creative Cloud Photography plan.
Note: Both Mylio Create and Adobe’s Creative Cloud Photography Plan are redeemable during product registration and may not be available in all countries. Adobe’s plan is available to users 13 and older, requires a network connection, an Adobe ID, and must be redeemed within one year of drive registration.

Tested at 65 MB/s write and 58 MB/s read on a USB 2 interface with a reformatting from exFAT to Apple’s APFS disk format. At $35/TB including tax and shipping, this is the best price/performance tradeoff currently available. Offers for disk recovery and photo storage and Adobe on line photo stuff is deemed worthless since all require giving personal information and files away and requiring storing all personal files on other people’s servers.

I have several of the Seagate external USB drives, and found them to be very reliable (more so than Western Digital). Amazing how they just keep getting cheaper.

I use it to backup video files from my drone/camcorder and transferred to my PC. I can then disconnect it and plug it into my TV for playback on the big screen. It holds more 4K video than I will ever use. Works well for my needs.

Picked the 2tb up from the deal zone. I’ve been shopping around for a while now and the Seagate was a case of right place, right time. Arrived a day early and immediately imported photo and video. I can edit directly from it and now I can keep my computer running smooth without dumping a ton of media directly on it. Definitely worth every penny

I’ve never had any issues with these (knock on wood), and it’s my 4th one I’ve purchased. It might be a little slow, but it’s reliable.

Very good for the price.

This is a great external drive that is portable enough to travel with and big enough that it can store a ton of pictures. It does a nice job – even though it is not an SSD.

I’ve never had problems with Seagate external drives. I have been using them for years for backups.

Seagate backups have never failed me, and this is another drive I use for photo library copies or Time Machine backups. I’m glad that the case on this drive has some texture on the back. I already had Seagate Backup Plus drives with very smooth plastic; slick enough that I was worried that they might slip right off my desk (fixed that with Xcellon anti-slip pads). No problem with this One Touch drive. For me, the included 4-month Adobe CC Photoshop (Lightroom in my case) subscription is a bargain beyond belief.

About 1/3 the size of my other Seagate 5TB hard drive. Neat-o.

I bought to backup other portable media that I use. Being light blue, this drive is easy to see in low-light conditions. Simple operation–just plug it into a USB port.

I use this for on-site backups. Excellent little drive that doesn’t require an external power source.

I was very happy when I opened the package. This unit is very sleek and very user friendly. I would recommend this unit to family and friends.

I was copying items from a nearly full Pioneer 480Gb portable(SSD photo backup) as I need some insurance, it took a good hour to copy less than 1/2 a TB of data, it shows just how fast the Pioneer is compared but of course comparing an SSD to a spinning hard drive is like comparing apples and oranges. So far so good, hope it will last a few years of ‘occasional’ use.

I had a rather old HD that I wanted to replace. This unit came up on sale so I purchased it. I connected it, and immediately formatted the drive and moved all my data to it, very quickly. Since then, rendering videos, copying files between devices are all performed very quickly.

I bought this to backup my files and that’s exactly what it does. I plug it in, copy my files to it, and go have dinner while it works its magic. After dinner it’s usually finished. If not, I go have dessert. I’m very happy with it.

I use this drive for storage mostly. I’m an amateur photographer and like to store some off the main drive. This drive is a fairly inexpensive way to do that.
