Built with the form factor of a credit card, the 4TB One Touch USB 3.2 Gen 1 External Hard Drive from Seagate lets you seamlessly scroll, edit, organize, and directly stream a large collection of stored photos and videos. Beneath its red exterior, the One Touch is equipped with a 4TB hard drive and a bus-powered USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) interface. The One Touch is formatted as exFAT, meaning it will work with both Windows 7 and later as well as macOS 10.12 and later without the need for a reformat. However, a reformat may be required for use with Apple’s Time Machine.
Included with Seagate’s One Touch HDD is an 18″ USB 3.2 Gen 1 cable, a one-year membership to Mylio Create, and a four-month membership to Adobe’s Creative Cloud Photography plan.
Note: Both Mylio Create and Adobe’s Creative Cloud Photography Plan are redeemable during product registration and may not be available in all countries. Adobe’s plan is available to users 13 and older, requires a network connection, an Adobe ID, and must be redeemed within one year of drive registration.

Extremely easy plug and play and fast enough that I can edit video directly from it. My only regret is not buying the 4TB version.

It’s a 2TB platter drive that is probably a 5200. Both my Mac and PC have no issue recognizing it initially but the disc is so slow on response that the machine will assume it failed or locked up and often aborts reads/writing. When it does work you can put lots of data to it as long as you have something else to do with your time like go work an 8 hour shift at a job or sleep overnight. Buy a SSD instead.

I had intended to add this to my TP-Link Router for network duty but failed to get it coordinated (likely my technical shortcomings). I added it to my main computer as that was my main concern in my back-up routine and photo storage expansion. Works just fine in that role.

This is a pocket-sized portable drive that works well. Using it with a MacBook Pro for backup.

Purchased this as a backup drive, mainly for storing video files on. It’s done a great job so far. Copied and pasted a couple terabytes worth of files from the computer to the Seagate external hard drive. I feel my footage is in safe hands.

I love this HD. Im a photographer and I’ve bought many HD from different brands and they all crash at some point. This one’s the only brand i recommend. I’ve bought 4 of them and they work perfectly.

I’ve never had any issues with these (knock on wood), and it’s my 4th one I’ve purchased. It might be a little slow, but it’s reliable.
