Description
Add space, consolidate files to a single location, or free up space on your system’s internal drive with the 12TB Expansion Desktop USB 3.0 External Hard Drive from Seagate, which is preformatted exFAT, meaning it is compatible with Windows and Mac right out of the box. This hard drive provides a storage capacity of up to 12TB and connects to your host system using its micro-USB 3.0 interface. Copy and saving data is easy – simply drag and drop. Included is an 18″ USB 3.0 cable, an 18W power adapter, Seagate’s Rescue Data Recovery Services, and Toolkit backup software.
Please note that reformatting may be required for use with Apple’s Time Machine. Also, Rescue Data Recovery Services is not available in all countries.

This works great, the set up was extremely easy. I’m not a very “tech-ey” person but this was super user friendly. Transferring files has always sounded very foreign to me, I can say that I’m way more comfortable now.

Ordered quickly from Amazon the first time and the Seagate 8TB that arrived was obviously fake. The ac power adapter cheap and flimsy, the lettering on the drive itself crooked, and it would never even power up. Returned and purchase the real thing from B&H. Let it be a lesson, just purchase from B&H and avoid the flimflam artists out there.

I’ve had this Seagate drive for 2 weeks and so far so good. Pretty much plug and play, easy set up, file/album creation straight forward. Time will tell if my pictures are there when I go to retrieve them. Love the customer service of B&H. You are the best!

I put this drive on my Xbox One and it formatted for games right away with absolutely no issues. I then copied my games from my 3TB external Seagate drive and again it was without issue. I am now using the drive for my Xbox One external storage and it is working flawlessly. I have never had any issues with my Seagate drives. The only drive that I ever had an issue with was a WD drive. I know others have different experiences but if I were going to buy another drive I would purchase Seagate.
