I Think the gun is very nice the only draw back to the nailer that I have come across is that you can not lock open to load a rack of nails if you were up on a ladder it would be difficult to load the nailer not being able to lock open the loading position.

Senco is the only 15 ga. trim gun I’ll own. This is the 2nd 42xp I’ve purchased. The first one is a good gun. So I bought another. I already have 2 Senco’s that are 20 yrs old….. used daily.I find all brad guns, in general ….. are disposable.

The safety on my old generic finish gun has been broke for awhile and I finally upgraded before it broke completely mid job. Love this gun, works great so far. Only down side is that the little nozzle protector falls off too easy.
