This tool is awesome and would recommend to anyone looking for a quicker way to install subfloors. This reduced my time drastically. Finished 1,300 sqft in 3 4 days putting in part-time work. You can screw down a 4×8 within 30-40 secs once you get the hang of it.

This thing is awesome. It makes the job of installing underlayment and hardi backer so much easier. Every now and then it will misfire(drop a screw on the floor instead of driving into the floor) it’s but it’s no big deal compared to crawling around and putting screws one at a time with a regular drill.

A must have for a large project. I built an 800 square foot deck (see image) and drove about 3000 3 inch screws and it worked great! Saved my back! It is easy to put together and to remove the extender for close up work. Highly recommend.

The senco screw gun is great. I especially like its versatility in being able to use it with or without the extension or even manually. I also like the variety of screws that it will handle. I don’t like that H. D. doesn’t stock in store or even on net the variety of screws. I had to go to another vendor to get the screws I needed. I just wanted 3″ weather resistant outdoor screws.

I was building an addition that has tongue and groove sub-floor and thought that this tool would be a back saver. All I can say is why didn’t I get this sooner? I have built and remodeled five homes, let alone the fences I built, and this would of saved me soo much time. The tool is very easy to setup and use. I screwed in a 4×8 sheet of sub-floor in 1/3 of the time, at least, if I had to use a standard driver and screws. The screws are more expensive, but the ease and speed make up for the additional cost. It comes in a very nice bag, but because of the shape of the tool, a little cumbersome to store. A few things about the tool now that I have installed 400 sq feet of sub-floor, 1000 sq ft of sheathing, and 120 sq ft of decking:1. If you go on an angle, sometimes the screw will not go completely in. For example, your sheathing only has 1/4″ of 2×4 available, I would hand screw the screws.2. The forward/reverse button isn’t in the best location. When I was loading up the screws, I accidentally knocked it into reverse. I didn’t know it and was freaking out because the screws weren’t going in.Besides those minor items, a superior product and a must have for any serious DIYer or has a large project (i.e., new deck, fence, etc.)

I’ve been using senco screw guns for well over 10 years. For the people that think this gun is a pos, you either got a defective gun or you don’t know how to use it. I give this gun 5 stars easily! and for the guy that thinks the good reviews are coming from the people at senco, that’s laughable! maybe the guns too powerful for you.
