I also bought the Rigid driver (model R6791) hoping that it would do the job, then quickly returned it after it increasingly became more and more difficult to drive screws. As soon as I fired up this Senco driver, you could tell there was more quality built into this unit. The motor ran much smoother, was quieter and felt better in the hand. The drive mechanism is MUCH smoother than the Rigid driver and never binds. I probably hang 25 sheets of drywall with this unit and EVERY screw was driven in the first time. My son is 15 and has the arms of a toothpick, but he helped me hang drywall, and even all the screws he drove went in the first time. With the Rigid unit, if you weren’t exactly square to the wall, that screw wasn’t going in and was most likely going to end up on the floor.Save yourself some trouble, spend the few extra $$$ and buy the Senco model!

Just a home owner but this works well don’t have to hold a screw in your hand or the next one in your mouth

Worth every penny! I built a back deck and a large front porch using this screwdriver and it worked great.

worked great, installed decking boards in a jiffy

I thought long and hard about why this was a necessary purchase and it has really helped speed up the process for hanging drywall. It does take a few minutes to get use to it but its well worth the money.6000 square feet of drywall is why I bought this.

Excellent tool. Really speeds the time to install drywall. We used non-Senco branded screws and it worked perfect. Just be sure to order additional Senco bits as the Ryobi bits are too short for it and our Home Depot doesn’t carry the Senco ones.

Really like this tool, but it does jam sometimes. It is fast when it is working well.

Works as expected. Initially purchased the Ridgid brand nailer. Used it for literally 5 minutes before running back and exchanging it for this nailer. This nailer works. Buy the decent screws. Not the cheap off brand ones the depot sells to save money.

Works well, i put up 900 fence picketts much quicker than if i were using loose screws. Would be nice if home depot would actually carry the collated screws in-store instead of online only.

I have been using this tool for a couple of weeks and I am 100% satisfied with it. It allows for very fast, one-handed placement of screws.

Bought for future construction. Tested for a few square head and philips head screws and works perfectly. The placing and removal of bit is very easy. The adjustment of screw length is easy and no tool to use. The body is very durable. Much better than the Ridgid collated screwgun which I returned due to problematic screwing, hard to replace bit, and so on

When it works it a great screw gun. One thing I did not like anout the gun is that you can not place the screw

Tool works well. Some issues with tool driving screws in completely in wall corners and when driving at an angle.

Great, dependable, and easy to work with.

Wow! I wished I had found this drill earlier. I read others reviews and decided to go with this brand no so well known to me. It is worth its weight in gold. Made screwing floor and Sheetrock very easy and quick. No jamming so far.

The gun worked very well. If you keep your finger on the trigger and go from screw to screw it works great. If you try to do 1 screw at a time it jams sometimes. that is the only reason it did’t get 5 stars.

It did what I expected

I used this screw gun to build a fence around my backyard. The neighbors thought it was overkill; all their fences were done with pneumatic nail guns. When Hurricane Ike hit us about 8 years ago their fences were scattered all over the place. The only damage to my fence as a few broken pickets where a tree limb fell on it (the fence was fine, it was only the top of the pickets that broke). Screwing things together is 100 times better than nailing. Great tool! It also came in handy when I built my deck, but that’s another story.
