The main reason I chose the senco line is that 15 years ago i got my hands on a senco framer nailer. In all that time it has been one of the most reliable tools in my inventory. I also chose the model that works with my dewalt gun,another tool that hasn’t ever let me down. This is going to be a fantastic combination. One thing that has been of a concern is the price for screws. A 100 count of loose screws can cost you as much as 12 bucks. I just came back from the Depot with 1000 1 1/4 screws for 18 bucks. That’s what I like,cheap ammo. The senco DS230-D2 has features such as depth control, hard to do by hand. senco DS230-D2 also will provide speed of work that cannot be done one by one instal by hand. This provides true quality

The senco duraspin attachmentfor the cordless Dewalt screwgun is a must have for during any decent amount of drywall hanging. The head is very well engineered to meet the demand of todays workers. The head is very easy to install and remove when not needed. The attachment is made of metal in all the places that’s needed to handle the abuse of typical job sites. The head is very easy to change screw length and gas a fine adjustment on it to sink the screws perfectly

I have tools for just about everything. I wasnt sure about using a screw gun autofeeder. I recently went with another autofeeder and was intrggied by the thought Senco could work with Dewalt. What a great idea. I like Dewalt and this made for a perfect marraige. I am now ready for other items to match together. This worked well and is able to keep you going without having to keep adding screws like I am used to. This was so much faster than I am used to running sheetrock. It made working alone much better. This was the best invention.

Build quality is excellent. I used a different brand in the past but this Senco Duraspin feels more durable and operates smoother. Comes with 2 long bits, a standard Philips head and a #2 square head. The design of the scree feed means there’s really no place for it to jam. Easy to adjust for screw length without tools. Just press in the adjustment button and select between 1″, 1-1/4″, 1-1/2″, 1-5/8″, 1-3/4″ or 2″ long screws. Senco has a large selection of DuraSpin screws of different sizes and materials to suit most purposes. They’ve been in this marketspace for a long time. Depth adjustment can also be fine tuned if you’d like your screws to be flush or protruding a bit. Depth control is adjusted by wheel that locks with a button so you don’t accidentally make changes while driving screws. This is an attachment for Dewalt screw guns DW252, DW253, DW255, DW257, DW266, DW272, and DW276 you need to have one of those for this to work. You can’t attach it to regular drills.
