There’s no doubt that I think senco is a superior product but why I would not recommend this senco adapter is not a issue with the adapter it self. It’s the over priced and heavy makita driver. Senco products are of the utmost quality at a great price. But the best part is the time savings of installation. Time is money and wasting time prevents you the opertunity for future work optunity. This isn’t the only thing that you have to consider, quality is very important. The adapter delivers the ability to set depth of the screws with repeatedly. All the screws will be at the depth the adapter is set. When mudding the drywall,a screws that’s not installed properly cost time. Should you have makita tools this is a very useful upgrade and will be trouble free for years to come. The ammo for the adapter is also a great bargain.

First, I use this product already at work but I wanted my own. Senco makes these attachments for a few different drywall screw guns that dimple the drywall so the screws are slightly under the surface without breaking the paper cover. This is how the screw should be-not too deep so as to break through the sheet rock nor too high as to be above the surface and in the way. What is the problem then? Using a screw gun implies you are handling lots of screws, lots. Instead of taking a screw out of the box one at a time and positioning it with the bit, this attachment goes on in place of a sheet rock gun’s nose. The sheet rock screws (up to 2 inches in length) are on a plastic line that feeds into the attachment. Thus your hand from screw box to wall motion is cut out, saving time. You can screw down sheet rock or cement board in almost half the time. Second, the attachments are color-coded inside so mine is teal to match my screw gun brand. Third, this is an amazing time-saver. There is no reason NOT to get this attachment because it turns your screw gun into an auto-feeding mechanism for screws. You can adjust depth, and it fits perfectly on my screw gun. The screw strips are surprisingly affordable. Fourth, I prefer adapting my screw gun because I like its power. Screwing into steel studs, you want extra umph. Senco makes a flooring to wood collated screw and on your knees, it is difficult to keep reaching for screws. The auto feed strip of screws solves there. There is a second, long bit that is not Phillips that you use for flooring screws. The cost for screws sold by Senco is quite modest. This is a time-saver, and a back saver. You will get into and out of the job much faster with this. Buying this product makes all the sense in the world. I wish I had one of these years ago. I can recommend it hands down.

For a long time I have been looking for a reasonably priced attachable automated screw system as I have several new projects with my son which will use quite a lot of dry wall and also siding. Just a few weeks ago on a nearby project one of the workers was mounting some drywall and had one of these attachments for his Makita screwdriver like one of mine. I asked him how he liked his and he told me he was totally pleased with the simplicity and dependability of his Senco screw attachment. I asked to try it and I was totally impressed and now I have my own and am very pleased.

Works excellent! I bought a Makita one similar to the senco one and the Makita broke 3 times within 30 minutes of using each time. This one works awesome no problems.
