After upgrading a studio Mac Pro to the 2019 model, I realized that I could not use my old firewire audio interface with the new tower. This PCIe interface happened to be an easy and inexpensive solution. Installation takes about 5 mins. The card works as described and also gives me two additional firewire connections in case I decide to import videos from my old camcorder tapes.

I had about 20 external Firewire Drives with client files that I wanted to retain when upgrading to the new 2019 Mac Pro (which has no Firewire Ports). This worked perfectly.
