After not sewing for 50 years I picked this machine because of the good reviews. I haven’t used it much yet, but so far it’s been easy to get started sewing again.

I bought this machine for making masks. My old machine didn’t work well any multiple layers, so I wanted and needed a heavy duty machine that could handle multiple layers and not jam up, skip stitches or mess up the tension. This machine has not let me down. The only problem I had is if the bobbin wasn’t right I would have tension problems. I redid the bobbin and it worked great afterwards.

I give the machine 5 stars but have only had it a short while so have only done basic sewing. Haven’t done any fancy stitching or made button holes etc. Still learning about the machine but like it so far.

After only a few weeks, I began to have problems with the thread feed at various points along the line.

Its my first sewing machine. I love it, it does the job, prepping the bobbin is easy. Havent had any problems with it and I’ve had it for 2 months. A little heavy but im okay with that since i wont be moving it around. So far so good i recommend it!

Have wanted to get one for awhile – Covid time was a perfect reason to finally do so. Making masks for everyone now! And can’t wait to learn how to read/sew patterns.

Best value for the buck!!!! I haven’t used my old Singer for 14 years since my Rottweiler had a fight with it and won. While searching for replacement cushions for 6 patio chairs and seeing how expensive they were I decided to get back to the “machine”. I searched for what I felt would suit my needs the best and settled on the Singer Heavy Duty 4423…. great choice, it’s a workhorse!!! I have since made 10 cushions both seat and back for less than half the cost of the stores!!!! And to boot I can thread the needle in 15 seconds with the built in threader!!!!

We have been making masks and wore out one of our older machines. We ordered two of the heavy duty machines and gave one to our daughter. She easily learned the basics and has begun her creative journey in sewing.

I Love that it sew’s so easily, not too noisy and that the thread doesn’t break so easily, like the one my friend gave me as a gift, so far I haven’t found anything wrong with it. I just Love it, I’m happy with it, ty, it was worth buying it❤

My old machine stopped working so was looking for a new one with a few features to do small projects. This machine was a great fit for my needs. The drop in bobbin is new to me, but it works great. I would recommend this machine to new sewers as well as those with some experience.

Still haven’t mastered the auto. Needle threader, and I have much to learn. However I have made many masks for family & friends.

This machine is great. It sews perfect right out of the box. I expect many years of great sewing from this machine. It’s easy enough for a beginner but does enough to be handy for someone with years of experience. I bought this exact machine for my daughter to learn to sew.

This replaced my 30 year old Brother sewing machine and I cannot believe the difference. So easy to use, so smooth, easy to thread, I love the visible bobbin whilst sewing, never a surprise when it runs out of thread. I am not a great seamstress, I wanted something basic and reliable and easy to use and this machine exceeds all my expectations – I love it!

This is a wonderful sewing machine for a beginner like me. It runs smoothly and it’s not complicated to use. It did take a little while to arrive due to Coronavirus and high demand but I got a tracking notice that it would soon arrive. I love my sewing machine. It is very easy to work and it came with needles and accessories.

I brought this machine for my 94 year old mother and she loves it. And it is easy for her to use. When checking it out for her, I liked it so well I brought one for myself. Even though I already have 3 sewing machines.

I couldn’t get over it! I was a big sewer in the 70-80’s, making coats and whatever for myself and then my children. I had my mother’s old Singer and it was the best. Feeling of comfort. I gave it to a daughter and got busy with life and teaching, stopped sewing. With all that’s going on, I thought it time to take up sewing again. This machine was rated one of the best, didn’t cost a fortune, figured why not? It IS my mother’s machine (way lighter though). It is like finding an old friend- couldn’t be happier!
