Love the machine! Did lots of research and was hesitant to actually make the purchase. Decided my 30+ year old Singer had served me well and I deserved the upgrade to improve my newly acquired quilting obsession! The needle threader doesn’t work for me all the time so have to figure out what I’m doing wrong. The extended table is very helpful for sewing larger projects. The only complaint would be changing sewing feet I have to completely remove the screw and it’s difficult to get back in.

After reading my manual, I’ve been able to access all the features I wanted to use easily. This is my 3rd Singer and I’m not disappointed. The 9960 is similar to my 4223 which is still in use. I was nervous about switching to this upgraded computerized machine, but I’m happy to say after only a day I’m comfortable using it and pleased with the results. It sews like a dream.

I’d been searching for the right sewing machine for my level of expertise ( novice) and ease of use. This machine did not disappoint! Very easy to use and set up. The only issue I have had is finding the bobbins in stock at the stores near me, ended up having to order them online. I’d like to add that I don’t like the bobbins with the square openings , they unravel before the bobbin is all used.
