The iSeries 3i-18135SNSC Waterproof Laptop Case with Sun Screen from SKB is a military-standard hard waterproof case with custom interiors to accommodate pro audio / video products.
The case is designed to fit most 17" laptops, and includes a sun screen that is stored in the lid at the base. An accessory compartment is located beneath the base for accommodating a power supply or an external hard drive. The sun screen includes a collapsible frame for secure storage. The bottom of the case is reinforced by a heavy-duty metal plate, and features a built in 3/8” female thread. Any light stand, tripod, or mic stand (sold separately) that can handle the weight of the laptop, case, and other accessories will work to support the case.
The case is constructed of high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin and features a gasketed, waterproof, airtight, and submersible design (IP67) that is resistant to corrosion and impact damage. Its continuous molded-in hinge, trigger-release latch system, comfortable, snap-down rubber over-molded cushion grip handle, secure stacking, and automatic ambient pressure equalization valve (MIL-STD-648C) all contribute to its military grade design.

It is a great case! Love it mostly. The thing I had a problem with was the 3/8 Mounting Hole on the bottom. I wanted to mount an Arca Swiss plate, but the hole is like a nipple sticking out. Not flat surface. I had to put foam around the nipple to level it off. I also had an Arca Swiss plate with a nut fastener. So I had to get the socket wrench to really crank down on it so it would not move. I would not mount this to a light stand. Much better on a solid tripod.

Great case for OM-D1.2 with 300mm f/4 and 40-150mm f/2.8 , light in weight (polypropylene), GREAT ‘Thinktank’ insert, albeit the whole case could be 1/2″ taller to allow for items in the top Lid Organizer. If used for storing for extended period of time, do bag lenses in separate bags to avoid any out gassing if using foam inserts.

Very nice case for the price. Does the job, holds my laptop and other drives etc under it all in a nice package. The stand mound is a looser though. just some screw hole in the bottom and not sturdy at all. Still a great value.

This case is a terrible laptop case. Not only is it too small to handle a 15 MacBook pro, the computer sits at the bottom of the case and does not adjust, so the foam doesnt protect it. This allows the computer to bounce around.

Our original set of AT4050 mics came with a custom fitted briefcase. It all burned in the Thomas Fire. With the new mics I needed a new case. This was the perfect item for my needs! Slightly larger than the original, I was able to fit a few more small items needed. Perfect fit. The only trouble for me was using a sharp object to get the job done. Fat fingers and sharp objects made the fitting tasks a bit of a challenge.

I researched camera cases for the last 6 months. I finally decided on this one because of the reviews and how everyone bragged on their customer service.I wish is was a half inch deeper so I could put my 5d mounted to my 70-200 lens. I put it in my think tank bag and have more room for all my goodies. Bottom line nice case with good latched and awesome think case dividers. But it!!
