Description
The Skil Sheet Palm Sander is the perfect tool for faster stock removal and smooth results when you’re putting the finishing touch on your project. The pressure control indicator lets you know when the right amount of pressure is applied and warns you when there’s too much. The pad brake eliminates gouging. Micro-filtration captures and contains fine dust particles to keep your work surface cleaner. A sealed switch keeps dust out of the tool for a long life. The dust canister is clear, removing the guess work of figuring out when to empty it.

I’ve had to replace the pad twice in one year… the pad holds the clips in place and they hold the sandpaper onto the pad. The machine vibrates those plastic tabs right off of the metal clips. I am not kidding. The first time it happened, I was sanding a flat surface, like a table top, and all of the sudden a plastic tab goes flying off. I used needle nose pliars to release the metal clips to replace the sandpaper until I could get a new pad ordered. I am getting ready to order yet another pad… because this time, both plastic tabs have vibrated off. By now, I could have just bought another machine. Otherwise, the size and weight are GREAT, and it works very well.

I love this sander! I’ve been using it to sand 2x4x6″ blocks for a new business venture and I’m continually amazed at how well it’s working! I’ve sanded over 200 blocks and the thing just keeps going … it works surprisingly well and I would highly recommend it for the price. If you just need a sander around the house or have a couple big projects to finish up, this hand sander is well worth the price!

I bought this sander 3 days ago. It started out great I was really pleased with the work I was doing (3 kitchen doors) after having to try and find the same grit paper I had to buy a full 40 grit and cut it up. Now the grips no longer holds the paper down. I am trying again before maybe buying another sander.

I bought one two years ago and have used the bjeebers out of it building and reconditioning boats. Don’t expect it to do work meant for a belt sander and keep it clean and it will last.

I like everything about this sander except the spring loaded method of gripping the sandpaper. Those wire springs make it a little difficult to properly and securely install a new quarter sheet of sandpape.

i bought this product with this price thinking it was just like other sanders i went though in two days im sanding down my monte carlo for my son the one i had when i was 17 myself . I was amazed of its study and ungoing strong motor . im almost done in one day with this good still brand.I t has got big chips and bumps and smoothing out evenly when sanding . i would reccommend this great product and only trust this product here on my precious vintage classic car . the pressure control is a good idea helped me stay in range . 🙂
