A great mechanism to install and change saw blades. A good high powerful reciprocating saw.

I purchased this saw to remove a stump of a bush in my flower beds. The power was more then adequate. Wish the blade had been longer. The saw worked as I had hoped and with some effort, the stump was removed.

I was so pleased with this saw and will be glad to give it a five star rating. I was down to almost finished with a big demolition and my older skil resiprocating saw died, I worked it until it gave up. I had that saw for about 15 years and I wore it out. I decided to buy another one. Thank You

I bought this saw 8 years ago. It helped clear out mass quantities of overgrown shrubs when I bought my house, cut down a small dead cherry tree, cut fallen oak tree branches 6-8” thick, helped demolish a laminate counter top, helped demolish my old deck and a lot of other stuff and it’s still going strong. It cost just about the same then as now! Best $40 power tool I’ve ever bought.

Nice solid tool. With a rough cut blade, easily cut through sago palm stumps. Will try it on more challenging tasks.

I have only used it once digging out some big tree roots, worked as expected at a low cost.

After years of doing my own yard maintenance, I finally bought this electric Skil saw to cut down golden hawaiian bamboos and small palm trees, etc… I wish I ‘d bought it years ago; with a 6″ wood blade, it cuts through a 3″ to 4″ thick bamboo trunk in seconds, a lot faster than with a pruning saw and no sweat. Also important for yard work, and unlike a chain saw, this can take care of trunk stumps or roots well below the soil line. It will be used only few times a year, so I didn’t need a big name HD tool @ twice the price. This is powerful enough for my application. Weighs 7.4# on my accurate scale; dialed in variable speed- better than finger pressure; quick blade change. In short, as a DIY’selfer, very happy with this saw.

Not bad for the price

I still have not had a chance to use this saw, but plan to use it soon to trim trees and bushes that are too much for my hedge trimmers to tackle. My chain saw would do the job also, but it’s too heavy. This reciprocating saw should be just what I need to get the job done.

I purchased this saw a couple months ago . only used it a few times cutting different types of material. it is a little on the bulky side but their is plenty of power to get the job done . Well worth the price.
