This driver is plenty powerfull with 450 in LBs of torque, while its still pretty lightweight at about 3 and half pounds and much easier to handle than my other drills. The led work light goes on while in use and is bright and comes in handy in dark spaces. The drill has 2 speed options plus the trigger has a bit of speed control in it also which helps with stability while starting a hole.I love that there is a 5 year warranty, I don’t think I ever had that long of a warranty on a drill- its a brushless motor so I’m guessin it will last a good long time for them to offer that kind of warranty, even batteries and the charger has 2 year warranty. The battery has a quick charge so in 5 minutes its ready to go again, I have not been able to drain the battery with normal household use. Also a nifty convenience is plus is the USB connector on the battery that can be used to plug in and charge phones or tablets.

I just got this 20V brushless SKIL drill driver and used it to build a horse shelter. To say the least, I was very impressed. It is lightweight for a 20V. The battery charges very fast and has a long battery life. My favorite features are the tool belt clip, the rubber grip, and being able to charge USB devices while away from an outlet. I was able to drive in 4 inch Lag bolts with ease. The light shines at the screw and around it which is a big plus. I have had some drills where the light is near the trigger and it gets blocked by your hand or does not shine where it is needed. The keyless chuck is superb. Can tighten it with ease with out tearing your hands up. The one thing I would change about it is having a place to put a spare bit. I would recommend this drill. I gave it a 4/5 due to not knowing the longevity of the drill.

I’ve owned this tool for a couple of weeks and whether it’s driving a 3in T25 screw or a little one inch Phillips head screw it has gotten the job done. Today when my phone ran out of power (should have turn the music off sooner) I was able to put a quick charge on my phone to make a necessary phone call. Never would have thought I would use my drill battery to charge my phone. The drill is very responsive to the settings you have it on. It is absolutely amazing how fast the battery for the drill charges, and how long it will hold a charge.

Excellent lightweight consumer grade product. A few nice features that make it great.Let’s start with the nice surprises. – A USB port on the battery. Comes in handy to charge the phone on site.- A fan in the charger that allows it to charge quickly. The USB is just a nice little surprise that you maybe will use some day. The fan based charger is something you WILL use, because it is automatic. I’ve found the fastest chargers have an integrated fan which allows the device to pump the battery at a higher rate, and thus scrub off the associated heat. The end result is a 5 minute charge to get you to 25%, and 30 minutes or so to full. My battery charged in almost exactly 30 minutes from about a 20% charge.Otherwise, the drill/driver is well balanced and very light. It is easy to use. It has the typical things you want: integrated light, torque settings, standard forward/reverse orientation, keyless chuck, and variable speed. What is lacks is a hammer drill setting. However, the lack of hammer ultimately helps keep the driver compact and light.Pro drivers are great but usually a little heavier and sometimes lighter on the features. I think this SKIL hits all the right highlights for the majority of users.Made in China

The model Skil DL529302 cordless drill driver is of a good price range for the drill, battery, charger and belt clip set. It fully charged in only 30 minutes and the battery itself surprisingly has a slide-on cover to protect it when its not in use. Another feature i like is that it also has the ability to charge my phone at the same time. The charger has a fairly quiet fan and illuminates to show me the power gauge. Its not the lightest drill which is what id expected but its plenty powerful for my needs in a standard drill driver

Excellent drill. This is my second one as I left the first on the charger for 3 months and ruined the battery and charger. So, dont do that.

It was lighter than expected, and plenty of power. It is as good as all the Skil power tools that I have purchased

SKIL has really Up their game with this new 20v system. After using this drill on multiple projects the past month and a half, I’m amazing at the power and the quick charge feature. I would definitely say this is one of the best drills I’ve used in the past few years

The first thing I noticed is how lite weight the drill is compared to my other cordless drills. The 1/2 inch chuck is a must when your deciding on buying a cordless drill because I find the a 3/8 inch drill just doesn’t have the power or versatility. The battery pack has a USB port that allows you to charge a cell phone or a extra battery for my door bell. The PWRCORE charger can fully charge a battery in 45 minutes or do a quick charge is 5 minutes that can get you threw a project. The drill has two speeds and a LED light like many other cordless drills plus a belt clip adapter. The digital brushless motor has less moving parts and makes the tools life last much longer. The trigger for the drill is variable and make it easier to get a better feel plus the torque adjuster can help not over tighten a screw.

It has a good balanced feel. I like how lightweight and compact it is. Ive only had it a short time and it’s shown to have enough power for my home rehab needs I’m giving it the highest rating because if it continues to holds up over time and use, it gets my highest rating.

Noticed the chuck key doesn’t tighten like it should. Was using a metal grinding stone and it fell out twice. It has so much power that it spun so much my hand got hot. Will have to adjust the number I’m using to see if that doesn’t happen again. Maybe a learning curve.
