I Love This!!!! This Impact wrench is solidly built, is well balanced and has a lightweight feel. The battery and charger are interchangeable with my Skil 6-1/2” Circular saw even though that’s only a 4.0Ah. Not that I would have expected different but worth mentioning that it fits my GearWrench 1/2 in. Impact Socket Set without issue.This Impact wrench has “HI”/”LO” power options as well, the mode you select illuminates with a green indicator light on the grip base all 3 are selected by a Variable-Speed Trigger Switch, 2 to forward (tighten), 3 reverse (loosen). For non-pros take note be careful re-tightening nuts, it is powerful.There is also a little LED light on the grip base situated front & center by the battery that throws out just enough to help you see what you are doing in those darkened places and it is out of the way of your hand. Has a nice feature which can be turned on & off that stops the action in reverse when the bolt breaks free. I find it especially handy when I break the bolts for my zturn mower so the nuts don’t come out too fast and the blades drop on my hands. Overall I am VERY happy with this tool and would recommend it. My overall summary is that if you are reading this review you are shopping for a Battery Impact Wrench, this will be a good choice. Happy to have this one in my toolbox.

Impressed with its compact design and the quality of its materials. Its usefulness in using it is demonstrated by testing it on the wheels of my cars, a minivan and a sedan. To loosen the bolts you have to use the highest speed signal and that is where its strength shows. The battery is incredibly useful also as a power bank and its unmatched charging speed. It should not be intended for use in heavy duty cars because then that claim would become a failure and this tool would not be rated effectively.

As soon as I got this Skil impact home I plugged the charging dock in to get the battery charged up. This isn’t my first Skil tool the Skil 77 saw was the first Skil tool I ever bought, 30 years ago, I’m still using it to this day. The design of the Skil lineup includes a feature some don’t think about, brushless motors. This is a very important safty issue whenever working in and around flammable fumes. No one wants an explosion. The first thing I noticed was that the battery charger was twice the size of the outher charger I have for my Skil 1/2in drill motor. Well the battery is much larger than the other one I have. But no,this Charger has a built in cooling fan. And even though the battery is larger than the other one I have it charged up in just a few minutes. Great job Skil. So what about the power of the tool. My reasoning for this battery powered tool is my need to be able me change tires on my 4 wheel drive truck when I’m out in Mojave. I don’t like dirt tires on the road and road tires on dirt. That being said, will this tool give me the torque power needed. Let me just say, the lug wrench is now on vacation. This is a real work saver, I did a 4 tire change in 15 minutes A added feature Skil included a 2 port USB adapter that mounts onto the battery to power whatever you need, phone, radio, GPS unit. And just think, no compressor, no hoses, no bulky air impact tool. Just down the street @ Home Depot

This thing is amazing for the price. Will take a lugnut off an f-150 no problem. The battery charges quick. I gave it 4 start because the auto function in reverse needs to slow down a bit faster.

This 20-volt Cordless Impact Driver is very much in contrast to an air-powered impact driver. Air-powered has much more strength, but this battery-operated driver has its place, too. Our intended usage is, while camping, using the driver for raising and lowering the trailer jack while unhitching and setting up. Since our atvs will have already been unloaded from the trailer, the lesser weight allows this small impact driver to be effective. There’s a neat feature on the charging unit … a USB port.
