The Skil 12 in. digital level is compact, easy to use, and packed with features, so it’s perfect for hanging pictures, putting up shelves, and lots of other DIY projects around the house. The high-contrast blue vials are highly accurate and easy to see. The digital LCD screen is back-lit, so you can read it from any perspective, and adjusts to the correct orientation however you hold it. Arrows and optional audible tones guide you to the perfect angle, and the Hold feature allows you to freeze the value of 1 angle so you can check it against another. The Memory feature lets you store 10 values and reference them later. A magnetic edge makes the level especially easy to use 1-handed.

An excellent quality level for the residential handyman. It has a nice weight and feel to it. At 14″ long it’s bigger than your standard small 8″ level (see picture comparing) but still fits in my toolbox. The level has both bubble and digital indicators. The digital is easy to read. It also has a magnetic side to stick to metal surfaces. A nice zippered storage case. Great quality tool.

You must have this level in your collection. I have so many different levels for different jobs because of the length but this 12” is going to be my go to level from now on. Not just because of its size but I love the digital read out. If you want your project to be done right then this is the level that will make it precisely correct. Whether it’s vertical or horizontal it reads perfectly. It’s lightweight, easy to read display and great manageable size…plus it comes with its own case for protection! Only downside is that I’m measuring everything in my house and I’ve now got a lot of corrections to make! This level is coming with me on all my jobs from now on. What a great asset to your tool cabinet.

I received the SKIL 12 IN. DIGITAL LEVEL recently. I’m very pleased with this level. I like the fact that it is magnetic on one side so you can hook it to a metal frame and move the piece with the level still attached. this makes lining this up much easier than trying to hold the level and move the object. With the meter you can see exactly what is off, with arrow on both sides it lets you know which way to move the project. Light weight and rugged.

This is a very handy, reliable level. It is good for small or large projects, and has a nice carrying case to protect it. The digital readout is convenient when you are doing precision work, with readings as fine as 0.1 degree. It also has traditional “bubbles” that allow you to use the level in a low-tech fashion. The magnetic base is very strong, so that would be convenient if you were leveling metal shelving or any other metal surface.

The Skil 12 in. digital level is compact, and really easy to use. I can be used to help you hang pictures, shelves and other project around the house. One of the nice features it has is the LED screen is the adjusts to the correct orientation however you hold it. It also has arrows and an option audible tone. The audible tone will sound when you hit 0 degrees, 45 degrees and 90 degrees. The arrows tell you if you need to go up or down to make it perfect level. It comes with a one (1) year warranty.

This is a very well designed level that is very different from other level I own. I recently bought a new refrigerator for my garage and needed to level it. This level will tell you digitally which way to go up or down and in inches. The level is about 12 inches or a little more long and it is stout. There are strong magnets that can be used on metal surfaces. It takes two AAA batteries to run the level..
