Convenient little tool for everyday needs.. have used it many times so far and I’ve only had it for about a week. Having a usb port to charge is exactly what I was looking for, the lights are great, voltage sensor is a potentially nice feature but haven’t had to use it much yet, and seems the battery lasts a very long time. The only complaints I have are the motor seems to be a tad weak, taking off/putting on wall plates for example you can hear it struggling and sometimes it won’t loosen/tighten all the way, so sometimes you have to manually start/finish. A stronger magnet in the chuck end would be awesome if it could hold a screw, the magnet is just enough for the bit itself but I haven’t had any luck with it holding a screw as well I kind of wish the USB port was on the side and with some kind of cap to cover so no dirt or any splashed water could get in. Also a bit holder built in to the driver could be very helpful, so I could always have a flat head and phillips at all times. I was able to easily fix the last 2 concerns with a snug fitting rubber table leg cap that I found from a local home improvement store; just place the extra bit(s) in the rubber cap and push on to the back of the driver.I’m very happy with this driver and will be looking for 1 in the future hopefully with the same form factor but with those concerns fixed. Even if it had to be a bit longer I’d be happy as long as it’s not made wider and doesn’t fit in my toolbags driver holder.

Very handy! Lightweight but powerful enough for most household tasks.

Works well with smaller screws (up to number 10s). Battery lasts longer than I though it would before needing recharge

Love the USB charging however it is not very powerful. Very good for light work. Wish the bits were in the handle like so many screwdrivers. I prefer having buttons for forward/reverse.

I would have given a 5 but i had 2 similar units just like this one but withe name brand Hammerhead. They are so handy but each stopped working after a lot of use. I would still buy another one just because it so handy. I use the circuit tester as much as the driver.

The most used tool I own. Accepts all screwdriver bits and holds them magnetically. The live-electrical sensor is also a great feature.

Switch is a little awkward to use. A push button would be better.

Great tool for the job!I’m a home inspector and I am constantly removing panels and screws to small for a larger drill, this little guy works perfect with the right amount of power!

Great size, love the circuit sense. Wish it had more torque.

So far it works really well. I use to take apart computers and reassemble new ones. I like that its rechargeable and last a long time. So far nothing but more then loving the tool and for the price its just great purchase.

Love the light. Takes a short amount of time to get the hang of the necessary screw in and removal directions. Most probably wouldn’t have issue. I wish it came with a plug in charger!! Over all I’ve used it taking items off walls and it works nice for due to the light weight.

Nice little screwdriver. Lots of power in a small package. Easy operation and ambidextrous. I like that the LED lights stay on for a few seconds after you stop turning. Makes it convenient to check work.

This thing is great for starting and removing low to medium torque fasteners. It fills the gap when a big drill or impact driver is too powerful or bulky. It shines at getting the repetitive part done which keeps fatigue at bay. It has decent torque to remove or tighten most fasteners. When not using the motor, the gears lock so you can use it as a regular screwdriver to get more torque when needed. The light is nice to see in dark places. I don’t use the hot wire detector but it is nice to have if you need it.

I bought the SKIL Rechargable 4V Screwdriver with Circuit Sensor Technology on June 19, 2019. It is now, September 5, 2019. I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with the tool. I am actually thinking of buying a second one and have told my father about it. I have used it extensively (changing outlets and doing minor electrical work) and only charged it twice. It didn’t even run out of power, I only charged it because I knew I would need to use it a lot in the following days. It is a bit more powerful than I expected and can torque my wrist if hits a snag or completes it job before I am ready. It is very well made. I really cannot say enough good things about it. Conversely, the circuit sensor works well but, aside from double checking something, seems more of a novelty. In addition, I wish there was some sort of on tool storage for the included bits. Aside from the possible (my opinion only takes you so far) negatives I mentioned, it’s a wonderful tool. Well worth more money than you’ll pay for it. Incidentally, I trust SKIL as a company. I’ve had to deal with their customer service before and they showed me what good customer service is.

Great size and works as advertised. I recommend this as a quick powered screwdriver when you need one.

This is not the screwdriver / drill I’d use if I were building a large deck. I’ve got two rechargeable DeWalts for that kind of job. But for almost every other repair job around the house I grab my 4V Skil Screwdriver. I love the design – compact, twist action, easy bit insertion and locking. The twist action operation allows you to hold the unit tight against the screw while screwing or unscrewing all with one hand if you need. I had a similar screwdriver that broke after only three years and the manufacturer is now out of business. My hope is that Skil built a better unit and this will last forever. Only time will tell.

Good screwdriver, that was put to work soon as it was charged.

Been using this little tool for almost a month. And love it. It works good just a little funky until you get used to using it. I’ve worked on various automotive platforms and used it one some wooden projects, haven’t had any problems and the battery lasts a decent amount of time.

I spent quite some time researching for the perfect cordless screwdriver, but my search ended when I found this one. Works great, love the carrying case that holds all the 44 bits it came with. Everything in one place. While it came with seven more standard bits it also includes 36 less common ones, great for disassembling and diy repairing. The integrated LEDs are very nice touch as well as the live circuit detector. The only thing that I would ask for it would be a charging dock but that’s not really that necessary.
