Amazing saw. Bought it to cut stringers out of BC fir 3”X12”X20. Handles like butter and worth every penny!

Precision cut made easily. Quickly cuts through green lumber including 4×4 in one pass. Never bogs down.

I bought this saw for a special project. I needed to cut through 3 inch thick custom laminated plywood. I spent the time to build an extended cutting table for my contractors table saw. However my table saw bogged down and tripped the breaker half way through the first cut. After some research I purchased the Sawsquatch. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when I started my first cut. This saw didn’t bog down that all. It plowed through 8 feet of 3 inch thick plywood with little effort. I’m impressed! Skil has produced a great product. The only drawback that I can find with this saw is the weight, but big wood requires a big saw so I’m can deal with the extra weight. Great job guys.

Great saw for cutting 4in and 6in timbers. Handles very good.

The bed is rigid and flat and and your able to set very precise perfectly square blade orientation.Able to do accurate square cuts like a maneuverable chop saw. Bit heavy but usable.Only complaint… slow rpm on blade means slow cuts to avoid splintering. But…unstoppable torque.

Use it for all beam cutting and fence post cutting. It’s a manly attractive beast of a power tool. Highly recommend.

Not bad, did what I asked it to. I needed it to rip some 4″ thick lumber and it did it in several passes. In fact, it did alright aside from the rattling sound it makes on a dry run without load. A regular Skillsaw foot offset is 1-5/8″, these are 2″, which is unfortunate in my case, where I wanted to use my old worm drive 15 amp, to hog out the first rip pass, and follow up with the 10″ Sawsquatch 15 amp, to finish it off. The truth is they should have a larger motor in these, 15 amps isn’t enough to feel comfortable on a rip. But that would involve another facility to build the saws, which Bosch doesn’t have a vested interest in anyway, so it’s best to let that thought go. . . American would be even better yet. Five stars on the regular worm drive, four on the Sawsquatch without a proper motor to drive it.
