This saw is AMAZING! It cuts through lumber like butter. The orientation of the worm drive allows you to easily see around your work while sawing, something that always drove me crazy with side driven saws. If I were to give it one con, it would be it’s weight. It’s noticeably heavier.

Owned and operated a skilsaw for over 40 years, goes without saying best worm drive saw on the market!!! My opinion.

Unbelievable, wish I had bought this sooner. Heavy, but worth it. Powers through anything with ease. Love it

I cut my extension cord on my skills saw. I replaced it with some cabtire cord and I was surprised to see that the electrical connection was designed for stakon connectors and a slide on stress sleeve. This saw is easy to maintain and looks like good quality. This is definitely a good value for the price of a worm drive saw.

Cuts smoothly. Tracks well. I have been cutting 1-1/8 in tounge and grove subfloor plywood and it does the job well.

This saw is made for heavy duty work. It will last your lifetime if you treat it right. You will be able to power right thru the most difficult knots and hard spots you will encounter. The Diablo blade cut a thin true line with ease thru the toughest lumber. The saw is a little heavier than you might be used to, but the rugged construction will hold up to your toughest framing chores. The swing away rest will allow you to hang the saw while positioning your wood for the next cut in the air.If you see yourself working with wood over the next several months, this saw will pay off with superior performance and accurate, true cuts time and time again.Spring for it! If you are doing big wood projects, you deserve to use good equipment. Invest in your tools for lasting craftsmanship.

Simply want the best well your looking at it plug it in use it for 50 years give it to your kid an he can give it to his kid in another 50 years. Only thing you may ever need to replace is the trigger. Skill i see your home owner line shake my head but if your ever going to stop maken this saw for gods sake tell us i will buy 10 of them an guard them like their gold. When you make you $$$ with a saw this is the best its the tool i never worrie about running i know she will gods truth im sitting in my chair an a skill saw is 2 feet from me at my door lol

I should have bought this saw a long time ago. Every carpenter knows to buy a Skil Wormdrive for cutting the heavy lumber. I needed it for cutting 2×12’s, and of course it cuts them like cutting butter!

Had alot of saws over the years was always jealous of the guys with the worm drives. This is a great saw for framing. I’m Rebuilding an old lake camp the saw flys through the old wood timbers like nothing. Dosent bog down goes all day I love this saw.

This worm drive saw “the best in the business ” comes with no lube. This is ridiculous a saw of this magnitude should provide a tube of lube and a hard shell case. I have had and still have power tools that will never live up to the quality of the SKIL worm drive saw but yet they come with a case to preserve the long use of the tool. Why not Skil?

Has a lot of power. Makes cutting pressure treated wood easy.

I’m pretty happy with this saw. It is heavier than my previous (18 year old) Skilsaw, but seems to have more power and cuts hardwood easier.

I love this saw!!!! I’ll never buy anything less than a worm drive!!!!
