A solid professional saw at a great Acme Tools price. Many DIY’s don’t realize most circular saws are “left handed” or with the motor on the left and blade on the right. This causes a right handed user to look over and around the saw to see the where the blade is cutting. The worm drive Skilsaw has the blade on the left side allowing a right handed user to see the blade and make precise accurate cuts the first time and every time. It’s rugged, has solid easy to use controls, and comes with an excellent blade. Open the box and go to work!

I bought this saw because my 25 year old Skill Saw stop working in a middle of a project. The 7-1/4 Worm Drive Saw has been awesome. I love the quick set depth guide. The saw has a good weight to it and glides right though wood. I’ve only cut straight lines so far and haven’t had the opportunity to cut any angles. So far this saw has been great.

This is an absolutely awesome circ saw! The worm drive powers through 2×4’s, 3/4 ply, 7/16 OSB, and 4×4 PT sticks. No bog down in the motor at all. Smooth, accurate cutting with next to no run out when using a guide. The saw is on the heavy side but the weight helps cutting straight freehand.
