This saw is very lite and easy to handle. Extremely accurate and has lots of power. It comes with a truss hanger. All the controls are easy to use and the magnesium slide plate glides across plywood. It also comes with a self tracking blade which I found made the saw more controllable. I can use this saw all day .

This is a great tool. I’ve used traditional framing saws in the past and felt like they had design flaws because of the placement of the motor. But on this saw, as a right handed person it’s perfect. I can see my cut line and stay in a comfortable position while cutting with out trying to see around the motor. To a new wood worker I would recommend that they spend the extra $$ and get this saw. Thank me later! 😀

This is the best saw I have had in over 25 years since I bought my first Skilsaw. The MAG upgrade is excellent. I also really like how they changed the depth and angle markings on the saw – being able to go past 45 degrees is very helpful. Powerful Excellent saw that can get the job done. I would recommend this Skilsaw to all carpenters and home owner.

Very smooth and easy cutting w/ Diablo blade. Way lighter than my older worm drive Skil saw. Hope it lasts as my last Skil saw began worm drive grinding issues and extremely loud and parts too expensive.

Very Powerful Saw… it’s heavy but it pulls itself along your line like a robot almost.

Best saw I’ve ever used — period. I replaced a 25 year old Worm Drive 77 with a new Magnesium-bodied model. The reduction in weight means much less fatigue for me at the end of the day.

I had shave an inch off a door for proper swing. Not sure off the wood type but it was a very dense heavy wood. It laughed at the cordless saw. I purchased this saw knowing that it was overkill. It was! Good night! It was similar to taking a knife to a stick of butter sitting out for three hours. I have never seen a saw go through wood so easily. I believe in buy right, buy once.

Why not go with the best?? It just makes sense to.

Bought this after using a small battery type saw. Wanted something that would last for many years to come. Found that people were highly recommending this saw. Bought one and here is what I see as advantages. Precise cuts, powerful ( when you pull the trigger, the torque it produces is noticeable), feels good in the hand, balanced weight, hook incorporated. The only disadvantage I see is the cord should be longer, you tend to move around a lot and a longer cord would prevent from snagging extension cords. Over all I think it is a great investment to my tool box.
