It’s the saw made for those who rewrite the rules. Outlaw changes the game because it has the strength and guts to tackle whatever is thrown its way with its worm drive gearing customized for metal. Others settle, but this Outlaw has the edge to see things others never will. The blade window gives you the visibility to make true cuts. And each pass of the Outlaw with the Diablo cermet’s blade leaves no metal chips behind showing metal no mercy. Outlaw is the newest character in the SKILSAW legend that started nearly a century ago.

This saw makes cutting steel so easy! Way more accurate than a torch. No grinding or a lot of cleaning up you cuts. The guards really keep the sparks to a minimum. I love this saw!

I was let down by the other red Wisconsin brand. This saw sails through 3/4″ plate where the other brand would get 1″ into the cut and blow the internal breaker. I’ve made a dozen of those 6″ long cuts and this saw keep going without issue. I stop every 3 inches to lubricate the blade. A short break in between helps keep everything from overheating along with liberal use of a cutting wax stick. After 12″ of 3/4″ plate the chip hopper is full, however you’ll need a glove to remove it as the cover is too hot to touch bare handed. The only downside is it does not cut angles. This would be the perfect weldment fabrication saw if it had that feature.

I think is a bit heavy, but this is my first metal cutter so I’m not sure if they can be made lighter. I like that it cuts very nice and neatly without much effort at all. It has a blade window to see where you are cutting and a chip tray. It has a very powerful motor, so read the manual carefully before using because it says it can kickback. The blade it comes with is a high quality blade. Overall, I’m happy with this cutter. It’s not missing any features I can think of.
