Purchased this product on advice of friend who owns a tool business; am happy with Home Depot’s price and quick delivery. (couldn’t get to friend’s store due to Covid-19) The saw has a variety of features that make it great for intended use as a portable unit to take to job site. Ability to store all the parts on the saw while carrying it shows the well thought out design. Plenty of power for cutting, ease of adjustment for cutting is great. Only had to make slight adjustment to fence alignment which was very easily done and everything else was spot on right out of the box. Owner’s manual well laid out and easy to follow, excellent detailed directions for set up and adjustments. Skilsaw has been around for a long time and the tool quality definitely shows.

Nothing was in alignment/square out of the box so took awhile to get it properly aligned. I made the mistake of not properly checking everything and made some cuts to find that the cuts came out uneven and off. The riving knife adjustment was the most annoying as it was very difficult to get the riving knife to properly line up behind with the saw blade. In the end I still wasn’t able to get it to perfectly line up but it was aligned enough to not interfere with the cut. However I would still recommend this table saw as after everything was aligned it cut well and offers the ability to run a dado blades. (The ability to use dado blades is not offered by another table saw I was cross shopping this SPT99T-01 to, which was the Dewalt DWE7485.) Also I liked the how light the saw is and how all the tools and accessories that came with the saw stored neatly within the saw itself. Wish they had a sku that ships with a diablo blade like Skilsaw’s bigger table saw.

Very pleased thus far. The blade was a perfect 90deg right out of the box, and it has easily handled everything I’ve thrown at it so far. It does come with a miter gauge and a push stick, and it also has 1 lower dust extraction hookup (probably gets 90-95% of dust). Be aware that since it’s a Skil wormdrive you will need to change the oil every so often (dependent on use). Knocking off 1 star because the riving knife adjustment takes a 10mm wrench (not included) and was a pain to intially get loose. Would prefer a bit easier accessibility and sae sizing there. Otherwise, looks and feels like a great saw for the money.
