The VP6920 USB Type-C Mini Docking Station / Hub from Smk-link provides additional connectivity options for your USB Type-C computer, so you may have access to networks, external storage drives, microSDXC and SDXC memory cards, and external displays. The hub connects to a Windows or Mac system via an integrated USB Type-C cable and offers a USB Type-C charging port, which delivers up to 18W of power for your Windows, Mac, or Chrome laptop. For visuals, it comes with an HDMI 1.4 port that supports resolutions of up to Ultra HD 3840 x 2160, including Full HD 1920 x 1080. Accessing the Internet can be accomplished reliably utilizing the Gigabit Ethernet port. Other notable connections include three USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a UHS-I SDXC card slot, and a UHS-I microSDXC card slot.
Please note that Intel/AMD graphics cards support viewing on up to 3 independent external screens under Windows External Desktop Settings. Also, due to macOS limitations, newer Apple computers ( MacBooks & iMacs ) limit the extended mode to one external monitor – all external monitors will display mirror images.

I went ahead and give it a 5 Star rating for now, seems to work fine, every port works, I noticed others talked about heating issues, it does get hot, specially if it’s being used without power going into it. Meaning plug your MacBook pro USB-C power brick into it, without that, based on my testing it does get hotter. Well it’s only been about 2 weeks. Great little product. Hope it last, it will last by applying a fan directly at it. Remember when it comes to technology our biggest enemy is heat…

I love this docking station hub. It allows me to charge my Iphone at some time. I wish it didn’t get so hot but I disconnect as so as it’s charged.
