Great sound quality! And the battery lasts awhile. Have yet to have it die on me even with all-day playing.

Definitely a must-have if you own a PS5. Especially now with the 3D audio feature.

I had an opportunity to get a PS5 from Sony during their recent restock, and many reviewers stated that this headset was worth the $100 investment. I was slightly skeptical, but I decided to go ahead and try it. So far, I’ve only tried it with one game: Spiderman Miles Morales. The scenes when Spiderman walks around the streets of New York are truly amazing. The voices surround you, and as you turn, so do the voices to match your perspective. Overall, they are fairly comfortable, though it is weird adjusting to the elastic-ish band on top. It is taking me a while to adjust to the layout and size of the buttons, but most of them provide feedback on the screen while you’re playing, so you know from the icons if you picked the right one. I have yet to play a game with audio chat features, so I can’t speak to the performance of the balance control between chat and in game audio. If it works as advertised, it’ll be a pretty cool feature.

Bought these about 8 months ago and they are falling apart. Keep in mind, these don’t see actual combat, just first-person shooters. I don’t wear them in a warzone in the Middle East. I wear them playing Warzone on a recliner in my basement. They aren’t exactly getting rough treatment. Still, they’re disintegrating. They sound awesome while falling apart, don’t get me wrong. If all you want is sound, go for it. If you want a headset you won’t have to replace in 6-9 months, look at something else.

Grandson was so happy that it worked so well with his new play station 5

Audio quality was good. Easy to setup and use. For me 2~3hrs is good enough before it starts to feel uncomfortable.

I almost love this headset. Ok, it is the best headset I have used that uses a beam forming mic, but it is not without flaws. Here is what I love: 1. The fit is really nice. Nothing to adjust. 2. The foam around the ears is super comfortable. 3. It works great on my Nintendo Switch using the USB dongle 4. It is so light and yet… 5. The battery last a LONG time! (charged it once since I got them and have been playing with two-way communication plus game audio for a couple of hours each day for almost a week.) What could be improved: 1. Everyone on my squad tells me my mic is really quiet. Would love it if there was a way to boost the mic input. 2. They are bluetooth but you still need to plug in the USB dongle in order to use them on Mac, iPad, iPhone and pretty sure I cannot connect them to my Apple TV 4k. (insert eye roll) Really? Hopefully Sony will come out with a firmware update that lets it pair to other bluetooth devices. 3. Remember those really comfy foam around the ears? Yeah, you will start to sweat a little under that foam as it is not breathable like the Astro A10 I have been accustom to. Bottom line: I would say that for $99 these are one of the best wireless headset purchases I have made. Would buy again in a heartbeat. Oh, and I will update on the 3D audio when I actually get my hands on a PS5 🙂
