This is a tool that shows some promise. I’ve had the privilege of using this tool for the past month. This is definitely a tool made for a homeowner or lay person looking to keep the tool box light, but don’t want to compromise functionality.I would love to see a professional version of this tool that has a bit more leverage, cuts more reliably and is more comfortable in the hand for long periods of time.

Received this unit as a test product through Southwire Program several weeks ago. I first impression is the outside of the package. The pliers are well constructed and a nice universal pliers. Does not cut nails very well but does everything as discribe. Highly recommend this pliers for the homeowner and professional.

Real nice linemans pliers that has a built in strippers. If I can carry less tools and still get the job done im all about that. It has a pipe reamer built in too! I do wish it had a crimpper built in, but very happy with it.

I received the Linesman multi-tool a few weeks ago, but I have not had many chances to use them yet. I really like the screw cutter over the one in the strippers I use. It makes a clean cut and has more metal to clean up the edge of the screw when I back it out. The strippers work well, but I struggled a bit with it being on the back side of the pivot point as I do with all strippers of this style. I have not run much conduit recently, but the reamer on the end of the pliers looks like it will be handy.

The tool is solid and not overly heavy in the hand. Not a fan of the color scheme but that doesn’t hold this review back. What is a problem for me is the lack of information on the reverse side of the pliers so you have to switch the pliers in your hand to see the settings. I would also like to see a threaded slot for cutting or “shearing” screws. Strips stranded and solid wire with ease but even the cheaper competition does that freash out of the box i would like to do a follow up review once i really get some use out of them Overall good tool. Not great

Works great for in all aspects except it does not cut steel strand(s) in ACSR as good as advertised. Some heavy duty bolts will give you trouble too. But, all other features work well. The conduit reaming head is very handy. Anyone who doesn’t deal with alot of ACSR should consider checking this out.

As an electrician, I used to have to carry wire strippers, pliers, cutters, etc. in my pouch. This tool covers all of those in a very convenient setup. The tool itself feels heavy duty and has performed well. I am surprised how well it strips both stranded and solid wire. Even after a heavy use, the strippers have not dulled at all. The side cutter on this tool is very strong, and can easily cut wire and light duty chain on hanging light fixtures. The ends of the pliers are very well machined and are extremely handy for twisting and untwisting wire braids. The bolt cutter easily cuts bolts to size and most importantly leaves the perfect lead thread behind. The outside of the pliers can be used to ream out thin walled conduit. The reamer is okay for a limited range of openings, but somewhat awkward to use. I would only use the reamer in a pinch. The handles are rubberized. They are easy and comfortable to grip.The tool also comes nicely oiled. I would recommend keeping it oiled to prevent any corrosion.I now only carry a pair of diagonal cutters, crimpers and these multi purpose pliers in my pouch…..nothing else is needed for the majority of electrical projects.The pliers are also guaranteed for life.

After I got these I put them through the paces. Grip of pliers is good. Wire cutters work smooth and cut great. I did notice that the handles are slightly misaligned. The wire stripper notches are very slightly off of lining up. That’s about the only thing I have to complain about. Grip is nice. I will have to see how it holds up after repeated use and wd40.
