These are the best romex jacket strippers I have used. They are built well and give a clean cut on the jacket. They are made in the USA which is a nice quality.

I find this box jaw wire stripper to be a lot easier to use than a traditional wire stripper. I would much rather pull the tool straight back from the box end rather than to the side like a regular stripper. I also like the more rounded handle in comparison to the flat metal ones on a regular wire stripper, which is easier on your hand and better to grasp on to. Overall I find this to be a great tool and I can’t find a thing I don’t like about it.

This wire stripper comes in handy when you are running all new electrical wiring in your house. It helped us get the job done easier and faster. The feature i like most about it is the handles are spring loaded.

I thought that this wire stripper was really easy to use and the grip was also really nice. The tool is well made and very durable. I like the ergonomics of the handle as well as it allows for easy grasping.

This tool reaches deep into the single or two gang box and strips the cable jacket where it needs to be stripped the most. Does not damage the insulation on the conductors either which is the problem I have had with other strippers.

I received these strippers a little over a month ago. They really help simplify and speed up the process of stripping insulation off Romex 10/10 recommend

From time to time, it is necessary to strip cable inside a box and this is the perfect tool for it. It cuts and strips easily without fail. Compact design makes it easy to get into tight spaces. A longer nose would be helpful for getting into deeper boxes, however.

I’ve been using the romex box jaw stripper since I received it from the tool box sampling program. I like the idea and I see the need for this tool, but with having the 12-2 stripper on one side and the 14-2 stripper on the other side of the head, it is very awkward to use inside of a box like it is intended for, especially in single gang boxes. I like the idea of it, I just think it needs to be scaled down somewhat and maybe that means having to have separate tools for each size of wire.

Idea is there, but a little difficult to get to the back of a box when stripping wire. It’s almost like the head of the tool needs to be curved to get that little extra bit of wire insulation. Otherwise it’s a good tool and does what it is intended for.

This tool is easy to use, the cutting edge seems sharp enough and and I was able to strip wires quickly.

Great tool to have when you need to reach way back to cut the Romex. I makes a difference when you can strip more of the jacket off, just make it easier to tuck all the other wires into to box.

They feel flimsy and only does 12-2 and 14-2. I feel like they should go to a bigger size or atleast 12-3.
Greta Breitenberg (verified owner) –
It did the job I needed it to do. I love it a lot and have used it several times.
