The metal parts and the plastic case appear well made and should last. The rubber o-rings that act as elastic bands to hold the pieces in place during use are not as robust and in fact when I opened the kit for the first time one was already broken. Maybe this was a fluke thing but I dont think so. Apparently the manufacturer is aware of the problem because replacement o-rings were already included in the kit. To me this does not inspire confindence in the long term. This is a tool that will only see occasional use and for the low initial cost of the kit perhaps the o-ring issue is just a trade-off that I have to accept.

Wished all the peaches where made from billet , the spreading bars are cast and if not lined up right will break cause of an uneven load. But it got the job done .
