Good side: stainless steel tank, not plastic like my previous unit; has a reboil feature that take only a minute or 2 to complete; looks much better than my previous unit; has a manual pump – I probably won’t use it; so far we like it. Bad side: instructions need more info.; no temperature indicator – can’t tell what the water temperature is; Bottom line – only had this for a few weeks but so far, great unit for the money.

The SPT 17.75-Cup Electric Kettle is an excellent product. It keeps the water at the optimum temperature and when you add more water, heats it up quickly. Love the easy dispense, too – with the manual dispense backup. One suggestion: the gauge that shows the water level is hard to read.

We have had this about one month. Other than the fact that description(gray) did not match product (white with flowers) we are happy with this product. It replaces a stainless steel version we had with only a manual pump that quit after several years. Really like the automatic dispensing. It reboils quickly and we like the large capacity.
