Micro-Induction Cooktop provides the best in cooktop performance, safety and efficiency. Induction heats as electricity flows through a coil to produce a magnetic field under the ceramic plate. When a ferromagnetic cookware is placed on the ceramic surface, currents are induced in the cookware and instant heat is generated due to the resistance of the pan. Heat is generated to the pan only and no heat is lost. As there are no open flames, inductions are safer to use than conventional burners. Once cookware is removed, all molecular activity ceases and heating is stopped immediately.
- Dual functions: Cook and warm
- 7 power settings (100-300-500-700-900-1100-1300W) the 2 lowest power settings cannot be actually achieved, but are “simulated” 100-Watt equals 500-Watt intermittently heat for 2 seconds and stop for 8 seconds. 300W = 500W intermittently heat for 6 seconds and stop for 4 seconds
- 13 keep warm settings (100-120-140-160-180-190-210-230-250-280-300-350-39°F)

Excellent cuisine, quick bake, easy to use, saves electricity, I recommend it 100%. If I had to buy another kitchen, I would buy the same

This product is amazing….as long as you have magnetized pots and pans. I had to buy all new pots and pans because none of mine are magnetized. Won’t work with normal ones.

The controls are very flexible and fairly intuitive. I really like the ability to set a temperature and have the hot plate adjust the power to maintain the temperature you set.

I’ve been cooking w/ propane for 30 years, Just the 2 of us now and don’t do a lot of cooking anymore. Love this little burner….It was tricky at first, it turns on w/ a magnetic field which is why the surface stays cool to touch. Not all cookware will work but a simple magnet test, if the magnet sticks to your pan, it will work on the burner. Fast, efficient, portable, safe, and great looking . Great for travel (just take the right pan!)You won’t be disappointed. We love it!

I was just amazed by how rapidly this cooking device heats water. As long as i use the recommended cookware it performs to perfection. It is extremely efficient and conserves heat. Once the pan, or my OXO tea kettle, are removed and it turns off there is no residual heat. Been needing an excuse to order some more cast iron cookware. Even works well with my pressure cooker. I love it.

I bought this cooktop to replace my coiled electric cooktop. This induction cooktop sends the electric coil, halogen, and other cooktops back to the stone age. It can boil water (for the same volume) faster than my 1100 watt microwave, can cook pancakes flawlessly, can simmer or stew better than gas stoves. The only drawback is that it requires cookwares with bottom that contain iron. A lot of the Farberware and Cuisinart “stainless steel” cookwares did not pass the test. However, cooking a piece of steak on the old school cast iron skillet was fast and to perfection. Lots of safety features to boot.

I live off grid, using three different seasonal renewable energy sources (wind, water & sun). Our power production ebbs and flows. It ranges from very high (for us) to a lower, thriftier amount as the year’s weather runs its course. So during times of bountiful power, if I’m not using the power as we produce, then I am wasting it.For years I have been curious about induction cooking. What would it be like to cook with electricity? I’ve cooked on natural gas or propane stoves for many years. Using electricity to make heat or cold usually uses a lot of electricity. That is why off-grid homes use gas to cook with, solar and/or gas to heat water and use a gas clothes dryer.I feel very good about this purchase. I have a method to cook food, which like solar cooking, uses a renewable resource. It is one of the puzzle pieces that fits in to make our renewable energy system even more efficient and awesome.

o Heats up rapidly on high power settingso Temp control a good feature. Works well with larger pots and pans.o Interesting new features compared to other heating methods.o Obviously requires magnetic pots and pans.o I use an AC ammeter to see how much power the cooktop is putting into the pan.o I would like magnetic pans with a no-stick feature.

I always liked gas the best but the induction is even better. Best if both worlds: smooth cooktop, very very fast heating. All with regular outlet, no special instillation Easy to get used to- I cooked perfect rice first try The digital options, including timer make it a great overall choice. Usually do not like being asked to review purchases but this one is too great not to tell everyoneThere. Is a fan inside, which does make some noise but I got used to it quickly

I bought this to cut propane use (our ‘regular stove’) in our off-the-grid solar house. Easy to use, easy to clean and very hot. Mostly I use the lower settings, 300,500,700 watts. This is the best ‘hotplate’ I’ve ever used. Suggestions: a TWO burner ‘Mr. Induction’,, and, ultimately I’d like a similarly inexpensive two burner (who needs four?) induction stovetop to build into a counter.

The instructions and operation are clear and simple. I would recommend the manufacturer add cooking examples for foods. Example, frying various foods at temp. and settings, boiling eggs, etc. Nothing elaborate, just a guide. The Home Depot clerk and tracking made this a wonderful purchasing experience. I will start my product purchases at the Home Depot from now on.Doug

I only use this to cook on anymore if I can. A real good device.Bought this to see if I’d like induction over gas or electric. Bought a home with propane from one with a typical electric. Loved the electric, pretty sure it was still faster than gas.Induction removes all that extra heat, side heat and most of the kitchen heat you get with gas or normal electric.Propane is either not hot enough for large use or too hot for gentle use. Propane has all sorts of dangers from flame to toxic gases. Sure we have used it for a long time. Once you get a good set of cookware and use induction, I doubt you will return to such primitive cooking. This small unit’s only flaws are it doesn’t have a 170 degree setting and a bit loud of a fan, and it draws maybe 1 Watt when not in use so unplug it. Otherwise this thing rocks! It heats water much faster than the propane range. It has settings to keep a set temp on for hours and if I should forget, it turns off. It is much cooler when done. Darn gas grate will burn you if you touch it or set anything on it. I love this gizmo.Buy a good tri-metal set or use your old cast iron set. Either way it will heat up fast, stay on a temp, run for when YOU set it to run. It sets by watts or temp. I almost always use temp. I’ve used this on crock pot type meals for 6 hours cooking, I’ve used this on largest pot I have and it works great. It works on a steak searing pan and you can bring it outside to reduce the smell and spatter. Who wants fish smell inside. Normal good electric outlet is needed. It has some very low temp settings. I tend to use 160 degree for most sauce and poaching. Set it to about 300 watts for pan frying or maybe 240 degrees. If you use stick pans, heat it up with high heat oil and then apply meat or fish. Then reduce. Non-stick pans can use minimal heat settings.I’m planning on buying a stand alone induction range when I get an electrician to set a 240VAC line. This product has proven to me that induction is that good. Mind you they aren’t cheap but propane just stinks. One note. If you use it on an un-level table, it can let pans walk off so be warned. I think one could get food to catch fire if on too hot or with deep frying so you need to watch out for that too. It can be placed where small children could burned so be careful on that. Place it and think about what you are cooking.

I am a cook, so I really love this product. However, I bought this for someone else who has no idea that “Warm” on a regular stovetop actually translates to a temperature in degrees. I had a difficult time teaching my two sister-in-laws how to use the burners. Therefore, I recommend that the manufacturer put some kind of grid on the quick start brochure that easily and quickly converts regular stovetop temps to degrees. Once I taught my in-laws how to convert to temps, they loved the product.
