I’m giving it a 3 star rating because I am not happy with the inner stainless steel pot. This inner pot is made so thin. It burns your food easily. Once your food got burn, it stuck to the bottom of the pot so hard. When you try to scrub it off, you also scrub off the pot too.Other than that, the thermal pot works great to keep the heat. Your food is still hot after being in the pot for up to 4 hours.

I purchased this item to use to bring hot foods to tailgating. I have not used it to actually cook the foods, but I have to say, as a large insulated “thermos” using the bigger of the two inside pots, this has exceeded expectations. We had a piping hot meal four hours later, and even the leftovers stayed within the “safe serving” temperature zone. Cleanup was easy as well because the interior is stainless, as are the pots. If I had one complaint, it is that the giant label is almost impossible to remove.

I have only used this product once since purchasing. I was frustrated upon receiving it that there was no recipe book, and the instructions were very vague. I had to search the web for some ideas of how to use this type of product to give me a time frame for using the pot in the first place.Though it is stainless steel, it isn’t very heavy and it is easy to scorch vegetables if sautéing them. Once I heated the ingredients for the sauce i was making, I was able to leave it in the outer pot for an hour and saw it actually did continue to cook the food and kept it hot. I am eager to have a chance to try the pot on soups and stews.
