I bought this sander because I wore out my little Black and Decker mouse. I make pallet signs and outdoor wood pieces and use a sander daily. This sander has good power and I can press down a little without it slowing down. I have a medium sized hand and the grip is great for me. It runs smooth and quiet. Wish it had some type of dust catcher but you could hook up a hose to it – I work outside and just let the dust fly. I gave four stars instead of five because of the fact that sanding sheets are difficult to find locally. I order them online instead.

I didn’t know what to expect for a mouse sander under $20 bucks that comes with a 28 piece sanding kit. But I was impressed with the comfortable handle grip, good power, and does what I bought it for. A little noisy but hey, a pair of ear plugs and this little bad boy will do the job. First time I used it was for sanding/refinishing a front door and the results were a nice smooth finish. Comes with a good assortment of sanding pads so I didn’t have to run back to Home Depot. I already got my money’s worth on the first customer job so we’ll see how long this Stalwart mouse sander does on the long hall.

This is a great sander. My only complaint was in keeping the vacuum hose to stay on the sander too much vibration. I had to duct tape the hose to the fixture on the sander.
