It doesn’t rate a 5 star, maybe 3-4. It feels cheap but the light is very bright, which is what I wanted. I rated it down because it was difficult to open for the purpose of installing the batteries. I don’t think I can blame it on my rheumatoid arthritis because I watched a young clerk attempting to open it. She wrestled with it for several minutes before finally getting it open. I still haven’t successfully gotten the little flashlight that came with it to work. I’ve tried multiple batteries, however none of them brand new, so I’m still reserving judgement. If it ever illuminates I do like that it is metal. I have other small flashlights like this one which are made of a rubber type substance and they have gotten sticky, but the lights work great, you just don’t want to handle them. Bottom line the cost was very low and the light is nice and bright.

It’s impossible to beat the price for this headlamp. Unfortunately it did not fit on a standard sized hard hat so I had to tape it on but since I used it for a costume I didn’t really mind. It works great and again is a good buy for the price.
