I give this three stars only because I haven’t had the chance to really use them. Nice wooden box and the bits all seemed sharp.

The Stalwart twenty-four carbide router bit set with 1/4 inch shank came in a pretty wooden storage box. The box had a place for each bit, named the bit and showed the type of cut it made. Twelve of the bit came with edge rollers. the bits were precise and made extremely well. These carbide gave a extremely fine cut.I gave this unit a five star because it was made well and showed each cut the bit made. The bits were easy to work with.

Was using the flushed trim bit on my project this morning. The circular guide broke and the bit cut into my piece causing a dent.

I ordered this for my router as I only had two bits and now I have a complete set and can do many more projects I have had to put aside. There are 24 different variations which will let me make better drawers and nicer looking shelves and frames. Th kit comes with an Allen wrench and a nice wooden box with diagrams of the different shapes possible with the bits under each bit.

Stalwart Carbide Tipped Multi-Purpose Drill Bit Set (24-Piece)My dad’s failing eye sight it prompted him to give me his router table, 3 routers and the bits that cabinet doors. This gave me the opportunity to get a new set of router bits that was had a wide variety of cutting styles. I settled on the Stalwart 24 piece set. The wife’s been asking me to make some custom frames for the old stain glass panels that were given to us.The price was right less than $50, the box that holds the bits was real nice because it holds the bits with a picture of what the bits do and to get so many router bits. So by telling you this I won’t be making a living with this set of router bits. I’ll be doing the next best, making my wife happy. I wanted to test the bits out so I did six tests of different router bits. I selected a couple of them based on knowing what they would look like and some because they were very different cuts. I had some pine 1” x 4“ for testing. You might be thinking that pine is soft and easy to cut. It also can chatter and show defects. I’m happy to say I did some nice test cuts. Did I mention that each bit has a picture under it to show what the cuts will look like. With my other routers I would need to do a test to see how the cut would look. If you’re ready to learn more about how to use the different router bits you can find a lot of different videos on Youtube.com. With these 24 bits, I can see where a person could do a few combinations to make a very ornate design. This wide variety of bits will enable you to have the necessary bits to do a lot of projects. You will find that there are other buying options that have more bits or not as many router bits. I found this set to be just right for the projects my wife has in mind for me to do this winter.

This is my initial review, and only time will tell on a long term product durability and performance. I am a very occasional woodworker, and my needs are limited to typical repairs and modifications. I was looking to purchase general purpose bit set. My immediate project includes changing trim piece edge radiuses, and this set includes good variety of bits for this task. My next project is to make decorative interior window sills, and this set is seemingly has all bits for that also. The set has arrived accurately packaged, and in quality wooden box. The bits are well made, and sharp. Running them with Ryobi cordless palm router produced nice and quality cut following router’s guidance on cut depth and feed speed.

What a deal! They fit my Craftsman router, and while I did not try every one, those I did were sharp, and did not appear to lose their accuracy. How often do we need a particular bit for a special project and not have it ? With this set the average DIYer should be all set for any project. The case also provides the necessary safety and stability to maintain your bits without fear of loss or damage.

Great variety of bits for all sorts of projects and design styles

Not sure why this is called a drill bit set. It is clearly a router bit set to be used in a router not a drill. A router spins faster to make clean cuts. This set will provide basic router bits for trim work and inlays. The carbide tips should have the bits last longer than standard bits. This would be a great set of bits for the beginning woodworker or the DIYer. The wooden case with the cut profile shown for each bit is easy to see what you have and easy to use and protect the bits.

This says Drill Bit Set, it is actually a Router Bit Set, and the router bits are sharp, sturdy and fit my Ryobi router. I haven’t gotten to any of the projects that I have been wanting to do, but I tested the bits that I know I want to use on the projects on a piece of scrap wood to check the qualitysharpness of the bits and the quality of the woodworking that they do.

The Stalwart Carbide Tipped Multi-Purpose Drill Bit Set easily replaces all of the well used 14″ router bits (most not carbide) I’ve had for the past 40 years. I find the quality and sharp edge profiles to be excellent, with half having smooth bearing guides to maintain solid control while routing edge treatments. The types, size selections and profiles in this 24 piece kit are what I use most and with my 2 14″hp plunge router, can imagine the extra projects I’ll be able to finish and complete!

A very nice set of router bits. Having them displayed in a protective box makes selecting the right bit very easy. The bits are very sharp and provide clean cuts. All of the bits I most commonly used are included. There’s also a few I’ll be trying on a future project. This set of bits will be handy in any shop. New router users should add this to their kit.

These are labeled drill bits, but, in actuality they are router 1/4″ router bits. It is a nice set of router bits for the starting woodworkers. Be sure to make sure all bearing sets are free spinning and oiled before using. Wipe off any excess oil to keep it off of your wood. The set comes in a nice little wooden case with latches. I would recommend this set for the novice woodworker. As you wear one out just replace it with a higher grade bit of higher quality if you enjoy what you have done.

So far I have only used three straight cut bits. Working with cabinet grade plywood they have stayed sharp. May not perform as well on hardwood, but for the price it is a nice selection of router bits, and the case is a nice touch.

I picked this set because I do a lot of remodeling on homes and Iam either duplicating or replacing moldings counter tops and cabinets I do have another set but it does not compare with this set this set is sharper more precise and cuts much faster than I expected These bits are an excellent value for your money from the hobbyist to the pro I would suggest these bits
