I’ve had one of these knives for 20 years and it finally broke yesterday. I have used and abused this knife since I bought it. I am buying another today I just hope it hasn’t changed too much!

Great little knife. Quick change button sticks sometimes but never loses a blade once inserted. Good quic access to new blades inside handle

I’ve had two of these knives for years. I’ve dropped them from roof and over all worked them hard. They have yet to let me down.

I give it four stars because I haven’t used it yet. I like how it is easy to change the blade and how well is made, also I like the small compartment to store 3 blades.

The handle shape really fits my hand well so it feels very secure when cutting. I had a little trouble figuring out the blade loading, but once I got it, it went in well and was secure.

By far the best razor knife I’ve used. I have no idea why people couldn’t figure it out and gave it low reviews, it is VERY straight forward. Step one: push button. Step 2: put in razor. Step 3: Apply to nasa because apparently if you can figure this out then you must be a freakin genius

this knife is really great! extra blades are right at your fingertips. the handle is slightly curved to make it easier to hold.a nice upgrade to my old stanley knife that I’ve had for a lot of years.

I’m surprised to see the poor reviews here. This is a good knife. It’s comfortable, solid and a definite improvement over it’s all-metal predecessor. To change the blade, depress and move the slider ALL the way to the top, past the third (outermost) blade stop. This will allow you to depress the button and release the blade. Depress the button again to insert a new blade. The knife won’t allow you to depress the button at the stop (the operating position), and this is a GOOD thing. You don’t want the blade accidentally coming out under heavy use if the button gets bumped. The knife will accept both regular Stanley blades and FatMax blades (I like the latter). I’ve had two of these knives for many years and use them regularly for construction, remodeling, woodworking, and general use around the house.

This was perfect for the job. It cut through the insulation like butter and works well.

Personally, I needed a phone system that would hold up to the demands of my household. Searching the internet, one name came up over & over again—Panasonic. The quality was assured. Now I needed a store that would give me a great price. Home Depot met all my needs with flying colors! I’m a loyal customer for years to come.

Took one star off for poor and incomplete instructions that are in 1-point type and packaging that is way too hard to remove. Took off another star because Stanley supplied blades that did not work with this knife handle. However, when I use bulk no-name aftermarket blades, the knife handle works perfectly. Why? Who knows? The Stanley blades have only two notches on the top, where the aftermarket blades have four notches. (See photo below.) It does feel like the knife handle’s internal mechanism finds a notch on the aftermarket blades that it does not find on the Stanley blades.

Blade change makes it so easy to have a sharp blade each time.
