This is my “go to” knife. I have kept one of these in my pocket for work for years. I have one in my truck as a backup, in case I misplace the one I typically keep on hand. The blades change easily, and don’t self release when used with a lot of pressure. Although this particular one, when I first used it cut 1/4″ plywood, the blade came out. I put it back in, and since had no trouble with it. Still not a bad score, 1 time for that to happen in many years of use and abuse….

I love this knife. It’s so easy to change blades and you don’t need a screw driver to do it either. Quick and easy to use I totally recommend this knife

I’ve had this knife for over 10 years and I have beat the heck out it and it is still going strong. Don’t understand how others have rated this so poorly. I would by this again!

It works fine, using standard blades. It is a knife.

This is real simple knife that works well, changes super quick and has a great feel. You will be able to tell because people will try to walk off with this knife more than any other you have ever had.

I use a utility knife almost daily and lost this model that I had for about 12 years and immediately replaced it with the same one. Good shape, not too bulky, quick blade changes. The reason I give it 4 stars is because it is made in China now….sad sad sad.

Before I bought the snap off retractable blade knife this is what I carried. I find the length and slight bend of the handle is great and no tools are required to change the blade.

I’ve been using this particular utility knife for 20 years or more. I am a contractor and have used others and always go back to this knife. The combination of durability, ease of use, and stability is really good. I bought eight of these to last me a number of years. I don’t think this model is made anymore so get them while you can.

I opened the knife up to change the blade and the slide popped out. I of course did not recall exactly how it was placed and I cannot find any sort of diagram on the internet to show the way that the slide goes into the knife. I am really fed up with this company’s failure to have useful information like a diagram for their tools. How hard is it to offer self-serve customer support like that? Get a new item in the catalog, post a page of information. Home Depot does it. Why can’t you? You have fewer items, Stanley. I will likely end up buying another utility knife, which really ticks me off.
