Well worth the money. Needed to fine tune the tool before using , but I expected this. Very happy with my purchase.

The thumb screws are a bit hard to adjust, but the blade is sharp out of the box, and the bottom and sides are flat and square. Good enough for some quick planing right out of the box. For the price it is a great deal, just know that it won’t compete with a $100 plane.

It’s a $20 dollar plane, and you get what you pay for. It’s a bit difficult to set up and you need to flatten the sole which is easily done with varying grits of wet dry paper, and finish sharpening the blade as well. But once it’s set up, it’s not too bad.

For most projects, a bench plane has become a seldom used tool – its’ function taken largely by a host of power equipment. Still, when the work calls for this approach, you want dependable quality. This plane fills the bill at a cost that doesn’t strain the budget.

Works for trim and adjust

If you are a pro wood worker, this plane will need some finish flattening and detail blade alignment. Otherwise, it is well worth the cost as a cobbler like me.

Good entry level plane. I had to spend some time flattening the bottom as it was not flat. I also needed to sharpen the iron. Overall, it’s a good plane for the money.

I never know that a plane can be so cheap yet useful. I bought it to plane down the edge of the door which is too wide to fit in. The plane worked perfectly. It is Stanley which I always have confident in.

A little finicky with the two wheel adjustment, but altogether a good tool.

This is a decent tool, after tuning it. This one can get job done perfectly. Not easy for adjusting the blade, but considering the price for it, there’s nothing to complain about.
