This stanley fatmax with hardened teeth cut my 2x4s and 2x6s fast and easily. I’m still in the market for a circular saw but with that project done I’m in no rush and now I have a great hand saw!

Nice little saw, sharp and does the job. Hand cut 26 4″x6″ retaining wall posts. Easy? Not exactly. But the saw cut much better than what I had been using

I just purchased this hand saw recently. It’s light weight and easy to handle. I have used it to cut up a fallen tree and was surprised at how fast I was able to cut the tree up. I recommend this saw for cutting wood if you have to use a hand saw.

I bought this saw because I work in the back yard and I didn’t want to use a electric one. It is a gem. It cuts as good as an electric with just a little elbow grease. What amazed me was I could even use it as a pruning saw on some of my small branches. A Great Saw !!

The handle is nice and large, and comfortable to boot.Stanley’s line of FatMax products is among the best for hand held tools.Best of all, this saw fits perfectly in a side saw holder in my Husky Heavy-Duty Pro Tool Bag. The bag is not featured on this site as of this review, but if you’re looking for portable tool storage, I’d also recommend that product.
