I have a variety of tape measures and they serve a purpose. I keep this one in my truck where it is handy for trips to the hardware store, etc. it fits in my jeans pocket easily and is readily available. It is not the best for construction since 12’ is too short and you have to hook it on something. When you are on a ladder a more robust tape that you can push out is the better option. I like the locking feature which most tapes have. It is easy to read and serves the purpose of being a quick and easy tape measure that is compact and practical.

This is a highly useful little tape measure. The 12′ length makes it light and handy for most small jobs. It is easy to carry around and store in your coat pocket or clip it on to your belt. The engineer scale is a great feature that reads the measurement in tenths of an inch as well as the usual 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 scale. The tape measure has a strong recoil spring and features a sturdy metal case. To be a small size tape measure it also has a strong tape that reach out to about 4′ before breaking over.

This 12 ft Powerlock® Tape Measure is extremely useful. I love that both the metal case and blade are extremely durable and how easy it is to lock in place when I am ready to take a measurement. It’s easy to read the numbers even from a distance and the hook makes it practical for any type of measurement.

I want to start off by saying my wife LOVES this tape measure. She took it from me instantly and claimed it as her own. She loves how compact it is and loves that its great for all of her indoor projects like hanging pictures on the walls. The engineer scale was a little different and took some getting use to, but this is an excellent little tape measure that is going to last for many more years to come in our household. I would recommend this to everyone.

This handy little 12ft tape measure is super compact, accurate, and useful! I have used this tape to measure and help hang a few sheets of drywall. I also used it to measure the distance around some holes in the existing drywall and to cut the proper size patches from a new piece of drywall. The small number scale on the bottom of the tape allowed me to cut the drywall patches very accurately so they would fit. With this tape being so compact, it fit very well inside my shirt pocket for a trip to a home improvement store where I needed to measure some items before purchasing. The metal casing is very durable and looks like it will last a very long time. If anyone out there is looking for a quality and compact tape measure I would highly recommend this one.

I bought this as an introductory tape measure and can tell you this thing is durable. Ive dropped it on concrete and from an 8 foot ladder and this this still works. Much better than the plastic ones.

The PowerLock gives you easy one hand use. Easy to read makes quick work out of checking bearing and shaft dimensions. Great for use in fabrication and quality control checks. Small, lightweight, pocket size and built with quality. This tape measure gets used daily in an industrial maintenance setting and hasn’t let me down. Highly recommend this, especially because everyone keeps trying to borrow mine!

I’ve had one of these in my box for 25 years, it’s always been reliable and it still is. I got this new one because the numbers on the old one just aren’t as easy to read anymore. The new one solved that problem and there is also finer gradations marked than on the old one. It is also more solid feeling and the spring is better. I’m happy with it and would suggest it if you need a simple lightweight tape measure. Now if it only had metric markings on it too…

This tape is a nice compact measure that can be stashed anywhere you may need one close at hand. The scale at the bottom of the tape, in tenths of an inch, is very useful for transferring drawings to a larger or smaller scale while keeping the drawing perspective intact. The tape lock is a little weak but easy to work.
