Got tired of having to go out to the garage every time the wife wanted to know how big something is so now we keep this little guy in the drawer and it’s available when we need to measure something in the house. Standard power lock features in a handy compact tape

This is the perfect pocket tool to keep with you full time. The first 6l of the tape has both 32nds and 50ths of an inch, which is as accurate as 99% of us will ever need. The blade will stand off to almost 36 inches, and the lock remains positive until releases. On an aside, if you wear pants with a coin/watch pocket, this tape fits in with the clip keeping it secure.

If you were in a jam with a transit this would work since it’s an engineer rule as well. Pretty sweet little tape

For such a small tape this thing is no joke! Very heavy(in a good way) good spring. Super handy to have on you.

This is an engineering tape measure. I really wish I had one of these for my welding job where the engineering team had to write measurements in tenths of inches rather than fractions. Also its small and clips on perfect to my hard hat. I really enjoy this tape measure and wish I had it when I was measuring tenths of inches daily. It is only in tenths so if you need fractions, I belive there is a similar product in fractions. Great quality.

This little tape measure is perfect for my small wood shop. I don’t have a bulky tape measure hanging on me while I’m trying to move around. This tape is more than adequate as I don’t use anything over 10′ long for woodworking.

At first glance the tape measure brought back memories of watching my grandfather measure wood in his shop with his Stanley tape measure. I was skeptical about the engineers scale notating in tenths of an inch instead of what most people are used to with quarter inch notations. But after use on my first project with this tape measure I am hooked on the tenth of an inch scaling.

I have had this about a month and like it quite a bit. It is small enough for a pocket but heavy enough to find. I got the the Engineer’s scale where there are inches to 32nds and inches in tenths. I do not really have a use for inches in tenths but I am not an engineer. Otherwise it is just right.

The 12′ power lock was a sturdy tape measure for its size. I like the fact that being small it is lighter and smaller while still having the durability of the larger models. I am always buying more tape measures because I leave them around having a smaller one I will hopefully be better at carrying it with me.Lock worked well once you get past 50 inches it is not wide enough to support itself without help but for the size it is I would expect that. Good product

Great product! Got this a few weeks back and already love it. The size is small so it comes in handy in a lot of cases and easily fits into your pocket. It is a simple tape measure and a bit old-school but it works better than my more expensive tape measures. Highly recommend!

The 12 ft. Stanley Powerlock is an excellent durable tape measure. Love that they stayed with the all netal case, and the fraction and decimal scales are easily read.

This has been a handy tape measure. I used it mainly while rearranging my shop and the Engineer’s Scale was nice for determining what would fit where during move. It stayed clipped on my pocket and the size was compact enough to fit in a pocket if needed.

This 12’ Stanley tape is the perfect size to keep in your cup holder or pocket. As a contractor, I always have my 25’ Stanley tape with me on the job site but it’s sometimes a bit too big to measure out small jobs for customers. I will definitely recommend to anyone who needs a quality tape measure.

Exellent for fine detail precision work with first 6 inches in 50ths and 32nds. Tape is all metal and extends 4 feet unsupported. Tape is my goto when I don’t need a 25′ 1″ wide tape. Power lock is great. Everything about this tape measure is great and it feels good in your hand.

I used to carry a Stanley 25 foot tape rule and it is a great tape measure. Once I gave the 12 foot PowerLock 33-272 engineer scale with try zero with all metal housing, I have a new favorite! It is very portable, not bulky at all. Since the majority of the items that I measure are 10 foot or less, it is a perfect choice for day to day use. Very portable, easy to handle, very accurate. Stanley nailed it when they designed this tape measure.
