More and more products made for Mexico, USA and Canada use Metric System so I need Metric System measurement tape.

My husband and I do alot of home improvements around our home and also my husband uses alot of tools at work as well. One of the main tools he uses is a tape measure for many different projects so it needs to be accurate as well as reads in centimeters as wells as inches. I like the fact that the tape measue is small enough to fit in a tool belt or pocket. It has a lock on it to keep in place as your measuring and snaps back in place when released .However if the tape measure is dropped too many times the lock gets jams and will not release the tape measure back into place and you manually have to feed it back into place, also the metal. isn’t very thick so the tape measure being metal it cracks if it takes on too much battle scars. My husband has only had the tape measure a few months and has had to replace it unfortunately.

The product is good and works well. It would be better it it had some rubber over-molding to prevent damage from falls. After hitting concrete, the corner dented and left a sharp edge.

Bought it because it has METRIC – the English system belongs in the middle ages where they created it with stuff like “3 grains of corn = 1 inch”. Metric is a simple 1 to 10 count, that’s it. It’s so easy and accurate, forget fractions. BTW: The English created it and even they adopted Metric – the US is the only country in the world that doesn’t use Metric….go figure.

I was looking for a 16m tape measure, had to settle for this 8m tape.

Yes works great

the brand speaks for itself, just wish the tape was stronger so it can hold at a longer length.

Tape is nice and sturdy. I am able to extend it the distances I need without having it break. I specifically bought this one over the standard PowerLock because it has metric markings. I specifically need this functionality.

Great tape. Was great to find a tape measure with metric and inches on. I use both and everywhere here only sell ones with inches only

While recently assembling a product I noted that all the dimensions with in both English and metric. I had English tapes and metric ones (I lived in Japan for a while) but not a dual tape. Found it cumbersome to be swapping tapes and the conversions were not really accurate. This tape solves the problem.

Good quality but I did not like that one half of the tape is in centimeters, which is useless for me.

Useful for building projects from metric plans. Typical Stanley quality.

I have used Stanley tape measure in the past and this purchase was to replace a 10 year old measure. The measurements on the tape are easy to read and the power lock is handy.
