The Stanley 26 ft. tape measure is made with metal, and the tape blade is covered with a Mylar polyester film. There are 16 in. and 19.2 in. stud-center markings on the tape blade and the positive blade lock will not creep while taking measurements.

The tape measure works great like all of Stanley tape measures. I needed one that also shows metric. I already have another Stanley tape measure just like it but it’s the 25′ with US standard in inches and so this one is very easy to use.

I do not like the metric scale on the bottom of the tape. It can be hard to get an accurate measure when reading the normal because the metric marks mess up getting the right reading.

The only problem is the packaging that required 2 grown men, a knife and pair of scissors to extricate from the tape. Some idiot decided that they would use extra strong plastic to encapsulate the clip, almost broke the belt clip trying to remove the packaging from the tape.
