From reading all the positive reviews of this tape measure, I was expecting a little more. It came with a faulty belt hook. The screw that holds the hook part was stripped out. I had to used a slightly larger screw, but it still worked its way loose. So I ended up buying a Milwaukee.

I agree with some of the other reveiws, I am an estimator.use a tape everyday. The newer version is much larger and doesn’t fit in my hand as well. My hands aren’t small but not large either, just glad still able to get online as cannot find in stores anymore,sure has something to do with cost, by someone who has never used one…

This little gem has outlived years of abuse and neglect and it still works perfectly every time. That may not seem like much for such a simple device but if you’ve ever had a cheap one malfunction and fail on you, you learn to appreciate a quality tool.

This is the best tape you can buy for trim work. It fits in your hand much better than the big bulky square Stanley’s do. I’m very glad I stumbled across this online. It’s ridiculous that they don’t sell this tape in stores. The person that made that decision must wear dress shoes to work, not work boots.
