The tape measure is a good one. You can’t pull out the tape quickly though because it will bind and then you have to wait for it to catch up. Keep it steady. Most tape measures are this way. There than that, it’s a good size and weight.

I have been using the Stanley FatMax line of tape measures on construction sites for well over a decade. I have seen a few different brands attempt to create a similar product and try them from time to time.. nothing so far has even come close to the overall quality and durability of my fatmax tape measure. I’ve used it on framing jobs, concrete jobs, roofing jobs, bridge building jobs even dirtwork jobs.. I’ve even taken them out to sea on commercial fishing jobs and shipyard work. I am well qualified to rate the professional quality ( or lack there of) of a tool. I have spent nearly every day of the last 25 years using and abusing tools and I can tell you I’m very particular about what I take to work with me.. Stanley tools overall are reliable and economical. I give them two thumbs up.
